I recently bought the SKILCRAFT B3 Aviator Multi-function Pen, and I’m really happy with it. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and has a sleek all-black design that looks professional without being flashy. The black ink writes smoothly (no skips or smudges!), the red ink works well for highlighting or notes, and the mechanical pencil is a nice bonus—it’s reliable and doesn’t feel like an afterthought, which is rare for multi-pens. What really stood out to me, though, is the story behind this pen. It’s made in the USA by SKILCRAFT, a company that’s part of the AbilityOne Program, which creates jobs for people who are blind or have significant disabilities. Knowing that this pen was crafted with such care and purpose makes using it even more meaningful. I’ve been looking for multifunction pens for the last few weeks and decided on the B3 after the first day I saw it. For the price, it’s amazingly constructed and has a very satisfying action when switching between inks. At first, I was put off by it not having a “locked” position but after using it for a day it’s no longer an issue to me now that I can feel how the mechanism is tight in a way that accidentally deploying a pen isn’t an issue. One thing that still nags at me is the inability to change the pencil lead cartridge for a pen ink cartridge. I don’t often use pencils, so I had hoped that I’d be able to switch out the lead cartridge with one of the blue ink refills that come in the refill kit sold by Skilcraft. That being said, I did find that by taking the head of the pencil cartridge off gives me the type of “locked” position that I had originally looked for. For now though, I’m still using it with the pencil cartridge. If Skilcraft sold a version of this with 3 pen ink cartridge slots, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. Still I’ll probably end up buying another anyway because like I said, it’s a great pen that’s made very well. ... show more

No tenia idea que tiene caracteristicas que son necesarias para aviacion, como su color mate que no reflecta la luz, y los colores que se utilizan para rellenar formularios, incluso trae goma de borrar que no muchas lapiceras de este estilo traen ( para borrar lapiz ) se ve muy solida, es pesada pero lo justo para sentirse solida, pero a la vez comoda!, ademas me gusta mucho el detalle que la podes hacer girar en la mesa sobre su eje medio, asi que, hasta te sirve como un fidget toy para calmar los nervios, es increiblemente delgada, cosa que se agradece y a la vez sorprende que hayan podido meter en tan poco diametro la solidez y la caracteristica de tener dos boligrafos y un lapiz mecanico, realmente, estoy mas que contento con esta compra, ... show more

Had a friend who was in the service and he was joking about how no one actually got their own, they just took it from someone else. Everyone seemed to love them because they were a compact multi-pen & pencil with a good heft. I noticed too that they also can fit an eraser cap on the end which to me is much more preferrable than twisting off the cap to get to the tiny eraser.
