Season after season, the SkiGear Women's Insulated Snow Pants serve as an outstanding value priced cold weather women’s snow ski winter pant. These women’s pant feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 8000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The boot zippers make them easy for on and off access along with boot gaiters with grippers to form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are conveniently machine washable. Sizing options include a Short 29" inseam (5'1" – 5'4" heights), Regular 31" inseam (5'5" – 5'8"), and Tall 33" inseam (5'9" – 6'1").

The pants are warm and seem to fit as the measurements advertised. They also seem sturdy and like they will handle several wearings/ several years of light to medium use. I like the zippered pockets, boot gaiters, and the idea of the adjustable waist. My one concern is that the side adjustable waist velcro did not stay connected. I needed it at the tightest setting. When it didn't stay there I tried at a less tight spot and still no luck. The hook tape doesn't grab well. I've worn them twice now. I sewed extra pieces of hook velcro tape for next time. I'm 5'7" 160lbs, larger belly, I bought a large and the waist has plenty of room. ... show more

The quality of the pants is really good! The material is waterproof, the stiches are very tidy. They are comfortable and warm. The price is perfect! Unfortunately the size didn't work for me. I ordered size L first. They fit very nicely and would be just perfect, if they were casual pants, but for skiing they were too tight. So I ordered size XL. Unfortunately they were way too big for me. I had to return them. I really appreciate that the company let you return for free. I give 5 stars, this product deserves it. ... show more

I'm average build 5'5" 142lbs since the holidays wrecked my diet ha! But I still wear my size 6 pants from many different retailers. I didn't take my measurements but I got size M figuring I'd wear pants beneath these. I'm glad I did! I wore only thin spandex running pants and tucked in a thin base layer shirt, and was very comfortable and warm for a 2 mile snow hike/climb. I intend to use these snowmobiling next weekend; I will update my review after. But these stayed dry after sitting on snow and my spilled water bottled beaded off. The steel gray looks great. I have sticks for legs, I don't think athletic or heavier thighs would be comfortable in here, but its disproportioned...they have a very large hip/butt area. Again, this is fine for me since I'll need the extra room for sitting on the snowmobile. Seems constructed well enough. I'll update if that changes but I'm happy with them especially for the price. ... show more

I bought my normal size, XL, 16-18. They should fit over may normal pants, being that they are snow pants. However, they were much too small around the hips and waist. I am returning them. They seem like decent quality, but since they don't fit at all, I will never know. Amazon gave me a painless refund, but, sadly, I will have to keep looking for snow pants that will actually fit. ... show more

I won’t complain about the price but will say if you’re looking for a durable ski pant pass this one up. I would maybe use these a few times during a winter season so they’ll suffice. I’m 5’3 and wear a size 8 pant. Pant length and inseams are always an issue for me in that I need a regular inseam and a shorter leg length. When these came I was so relieved because they fit my waist properly but of course the length was too long. I made due because the inner liner had elastic at the ankle. When it came time to go play in the snow however I was so frustrated. The snaps on the waist are so weak that just bending over or taking a deep breath caused them to pop open and the Velcro wouldn’t hold well either. Thankful that the zipper locked well so my pants still stayed up. Because of the long length on me, the bottom of the pant legs were torn and fraying by the end of our 4 day trip. If I was an avid skier or snowboarder I would pass on buying these pants. Otherwise for my limited use they served their purpose and kept me warm and dry without having to invest over $100. ... show more

These r nice esp for the price. It looked like they zipped at the legs but they dont. I think zippers would b easier on & off but it will keep the snow out. Only wore a couple times but so far so good
