I purchased these -true-to-size-for a summer trip after having tried multiple uncomfortable sandals. I needed something that would be comfortable to wear on boats and for a lot of walking on land. I have low back problems, and I was concerned the sandal would not offer enough support, but they were the perfect and I wore them exploring, 8-10 hours daily. They also paired well with capris, shorts, jeans, etc. The comfort and support they offer has led me to use them like slippers around the house - and I'm normally a barefoot gal! I will say, I almost returned them initially because I have high arches and the arch support in the sandal is very noticeable at first. After walking in them, a few days, that molded to my foot and became imperceptible. Make sure you get them prior to your trip and break them in, and you'll have the perfect, versatile, attractive sandal!

I love these sandals! Let me start by saying I have plantar fasciitis. As a result of this condition I wear custom made orthotics in my shoes, so summertime is a challenge. Any sandal without proper arch support leaves me in excruciating pain after only wearing them a short time. Many years ago I purchased this same sandal (in brown) and they are basically my permanent summer footwear - freeing my feet from their summertime claustrophobia of sneakers. This year I was devastated that I had to "put them to rest". They had done their time and there was no way I could get another season out of them. I searched high and low in local shoe stores and found nothing that compared. I knew it was going to be a dreadful summer. It finally dawned on me to check amazon and was delighted to find the exact sandal! - and that they came in multiple colors/designs!!! Aside from how sporty and cute these are, let's talk practicality: The sole of this shoe is firm and supportive yet provides sufficient cushion for comfortable all-day wear. They have an adjustable strap with a velcro closure so you can really get your foot stabilized in them, keeping the arch of the foot aligned with the built-in support. The ability to achieve this snug fit also eliminates blisters often caused when your foot shifts, making them suitable for long walks and even mild hiking. I don't have a wide foot but I would imagine this sandal would accommodate a fairly wide foot. I have to say that in general I hate thong sandals, but I really cannot feel the material that goes between the toes on these sandals. They are durable (my previous pair lasted several years), they clean easily and even with the suede accents it never posed a problem when they got wet. Highly recommended!

I normally wear a 12 so I got these in a 12. They fit okay, I would like them to be a tad wider, but they aren't! I ordered a size 13 and they were just too large all around. So I am keeping my 12 and I hope they will "wear in" eventually. They are comfy to walk in. I think they are a good value for the money. They will be easy to clean, just put them under running water and set aside to dry. I need a quick sandal to get into and these fit the bill.

These are the best shoes, for casual wear. So comfortable to wear. I bought my first pair of these flip-flops 10 years ago and they are the best pair of shoes I could’ve ever paid money for. I have finally worn out my first pair, and by that I mean, I’m still wearing them but they are a little weathered. You just can’t go wrong with the sketcher flip-flops.
