These boots are great! Wore them to walk around NYC in the middle of January and they held up to snow, rain, and freezing temps. They kept my feet warm and comfortable, and went with basically every outfit I had. Worked for dinner, a show, and just walking around. Highly recommend!

Update January 2022 These ankle boots have a true wide width. During the Texas 2021 grid failure with ice and snow and sudden snowfall in Nashville Tennessee in January 2022, these boots performed as advertised. They were comfortable walking in large airports. They did not worsen painful Morton’s Neuroma because they are almost flat. This means you can order arch support and padding then create the foot support and comfort you need. Your upper body attire will create the style you want to project when wearing these boots. You can also add your own decorations and bling to these ankle boots to match your personal style. Helpful tip: If you have wide feet and like thick or multiple layers of socks, going up a full size may give you the extra space you need to feel comfortable. I like: 1) A true Wide. 2) Opens wide for foot entrance and removal then closes softly. 3) Yes, there is enough space to add orthotics and padding or wear extra thick socks. 4) No, this ankle boot did not leak in ice and snow or slush. You could add an extra bit of glue around the shoe where the sole meets the upper and spray a waterproofing on the upper. I did not need to take any extra steps to seal the ankle boot — but you could. These boots spend most of their time in my closet because I live in the Deep South. When the weather was shockingly below freezing, these boots have kept my feet warm and dry in above ankle snow and ice. They are mostly flat shoes and not slippery. I’ve is always slippery so I walk slowly and carefully on ice. I realize they are not “cute.” The good news is that you can dress these ankle boots with stylish outerwear garments and accessories that you can purchase here in the Amazon Shopping Mall or your favorite store. Alert: Some people need a tight shoe with an elevated heel - this is NOT that shoe. You’d have to wear multiple socks or thick socks and orthotics to get a tight fit. Great little boots! They fit my wide feet well and kept them warm. They were comfortable to wear for being out and about on sidewalks. The tread worked fine for my purposes, but probably wouldn't be good for hiking or needing better traction.

True to size. Warm and cozy. Love the slip on style, so easy to put on,no need to struggle bending over. Have bought several styles of their Slip ons, so comfortable. I did notice that one pair with a fleece lining kept pulling my socks down, so now I wear knee high,compression socks they don't slide.

I’ve always been a fan of Skechers, but I recently purchased a pair of boots that unfortunately run small. I have existing knee and leg issues, and wearing these boots for an extended period placed my legs and knees in an uncomfortable position. After walking in them at the mall for about 30 minutes, I returned home with significant knee pain. I’m disappointed, as I usually find Skechers shoes very comfortable, but this particular pair didn’t work well for me.

I have a pair of Skechers winter booties in brown suede which must be nearly 7 years old, still in great condition and warm, no leaks, but just starting to look a bit battered and worn out since they are my constant winter footwear -- so I indulged myself with the available offered pair in my 7 Wide size (I like to wear thick socks with any boots), and these ankle booties happened to be black suede. What an attractive addition to my wardrobe! These feel rather lighter than my seasons-old brown pair but just as warm, just as comfortably fitting as a pair of favorite slippers, and treated with some special, odorless, not slippery, non-sticky Scotchgard waterproofing so I can splash out in all sorts of weather as March runs into April or even a chilly May, and then when next autumn arrives (also, these boots never get that grungy stored-in-the-closet look between seasons. You know, kind of mashed and sad, no matter how carefully they are placed to not get crushed). Skechers are the best brand of weather booties one can ever possibly purchase, and nothing clunky or cumbersome looking about them; just reliable, pretty-looking ankle boots of fine quality; the fake fur is tasteful in appearance and makes a nice touch. I'm so glad I have a new black pair of Skecher booties to alternate with my old brown pair for the luxury and comfort. I've worn chukka boots for chilly weather casual since junior high school, for 45 years now, and this is truly my favorite brand.
