(I'm 74yo, 5'.4" tall, 200lbs, diabetic, and need well ventilated cool shoes for my fast-walk one mile daily or for going places) I've used this pair for two days of fast-walking and it was very soft, non slipping on stairsways, light, comfortable & cool feet. Great sharp look with that "Chic&elegant appearence", f/any "dress or pants" occasion, for lounge or going out. Some sketchers are " machine wash", but even if they aren't I wash them, and in any, I use only a little bit of "all" laundry detergent in slow cycle, I don't heat dry them, I let it air dry vertically near the air conditioner or in a cool Dryer cycle, this way they won't shrink any. So, for amazon having the best affordable price around , it allowed this Senior-in-a-low-pension to order immediatelly, 2 more pairs! One blk/hotpink and one pair of blk/ blue-turquoise f/ myself--stocking up for my future need. I also ordered 2black " sketchers work" pairs for my two sons b'day gifts ( they are Security Officers, their boots are too hot for summer heat. They both now love the ease of Sketchers-work comfort!). I am Very Very Very happy w/ purchases!!!!

When I ordered these shoes, I didn’t realize they had laces to tie; wanted a shoe to quickly put on & not have to tie. Was going to send them back but decided I should at least try them on. So glad I did! These are the most comfortable shoes I think I’ve ever had! I have a very wide foot, and other problems including plantar fasciitis. But these shoes…man, are they comfortable! Nice looking too. I got navy blue to wear with jeans.

This sneaker is true to the description. I generally wear 7 and half. This is an 8. I tried the Brooks, more expensive, not as comfortable, to me. I need a larger toe box. My toes were at the very top of the Brooks. In this sneaker I can add a arch support insert and still be comfortable. I'll be looking for another pair. I'd never heard of a toe box before. This is a game changer for me. I was born with bunions and at 70 + no surgery for me. I find a wide shoe to be too large. This was a great purchase.
