I enjoy wearing these shoes because of the padded exterior which lends itself to comfort. However, these shoes might be best worn when you are taking your evening walk, if you live in the tropics, because they can get quite warm on a sunny day. In spite of the warmth, the style is nice and suits me; they slip on easily if they are the correct size, and they provide much needed support. Overall, they are fit for my purpose - walking without my feet being pinched and feeling like my feet are touching the ground.

I have a very high instep, wide, completely flat feet and really weak ankles due to an inherited form of Muscular Dystrophy. I also wear compression ankle socks to help support my ankles. I find that some versions of the Go Walk Skechers are very forgiving shoes and they adapt well to my messed up feet. This pair fits extremely well. It's somewhat looser than some of my others in the same standard size 8 that I always purchase, but that's actually a benefit to me. I don't buy them in a wide width because I feel like my feet swim in the wider ones. These are simple to slip on. They are very lightweight and the fabric is stretchy and comfortable. I find them durable enough for my purposes because it's not like I'm running a marathon in them. The navy color goes nicely with my standard retirement wardrobe of Jeans. The heel is higher than some others I have and I like that because my Jeans don't bunch up at the top front of the shoe.

I have always loved Skechers. This pair is amazing! Fits like a glove and is Extremely comfortable for daily walks!!!! I can walk for hours and feel no pain in my heels. Great design . I have no doubt I’ll use this pair for years.

Update: I took these shoes with me on my trip and found they were my choice to wear most days. I kept a different set of insoles in them instead of the original. I wore no-show socks with them and still felt that my toes had plenty of room. I was pleasantly surprised I did not have foot cramps or tired legs at the end of the day. I purchased these shoes for an upcoming trip to Europe, hoping they will be comfortable to wear while walking on cobblestones, etc. as I visit historical sites. I read reviews on several lightweight shoes for travel/walking and decided to try these. They are light, seem like they will be easy to pack without taking up too much space, and they are washable. I have worn these exactly two times since purchasing. I receive compliments on them; they are comfortable for short periods of time on my feet. Cushiony for those short times. I walked in them for an hour at the community track. I carried athletic insoles with me and tried several configurations in these shoes: original insoles, athletic insoles, both together. I ended up wearing both sets of insoles to get the most comfort for my arches and toes. Even with both sets the shoes did not feel too tight, but I can confidently say I will not be able to wear these shoes with just the original insoles while walking for hours over uneven ground. The other issue I had with these shoes is that they squeaked terribly the first time I wore them! A friend suggested I rough up the bottoms on asphalt. That did the trick to quiet them. I have just purchased two other sets of insoles and when they arrive I will try each in these shoes because I really want to be able to pack these in my suitcase.

These Beat My Hiking Shoes! I’ve worn these occasionally for two years, but after a trip to Hong Kong, I had to leave a review. I brought these Skechers as a backup—but after Day 1 of hiking shoes killing my feet after 16 hours of flying, trekking through airports, climbing 1,000 stairs, and walking up steep inclines and uneven pavements, my feet said no more to the hiking boots. I was planning to buy another pair in Hong Kong. So, out of desperation I switched to the sketchers and never looked back. I literally left my hiking shoes in Hong Kong..haha!! The rest of my week, I put lots of mileage on these shoes,through the rain, up/down stairs, steep inclines, and uneven pavements without one issue! Grip-excellent, support-excellent, comfort-excellent. My feet stayed dry even without socks, and never got blisters. They’re super lightweight, supportive (even with my bunions and need for arch support), and the shoes dry quickly. I wore these home too! I'm just shocked! I underestimated these shoes. I needed to share how tough these shoes are but gentle on your feet. They are true to size, but go up half a size if youre planning to wear socks. I have a medium (B) width foot as well. These are not flashy, but absolutely perfect for travel and painless walking. Highly recommend!

These SkechersWoman’s Go walk Sneaker ‘s are great! I need to wear them as I tend to get a lot of Calluses on my feet if I don’t wear a good shoe or sneaker! They are very comfortable and am able to walk longer! Good price also!

I am a teacher, so I need shoes I can stand and walk in all day. I have traditionally been a Crocs fan, but my doctor wanted me to wear "sneakers" to help with some knee pain I was having. I found these (although they're more like loafers than sneakers) and decided to try them. They are very comfortable to walk around in and stand for a while. They are mesh, so they're breathable which is important for me since I hate wearing socks. They also don't cause irritation when they rub slightly as I walk. The two issues I've had with them are that the lining on the sole is starting to come out. I realize that's partly because I don't wear socks with them, but it's still annoying. The second issue is that now that ive had them for a while, the cushion feeling is starting to wear down. They aren't as comfortable as they were when I first got them. That's definitely a disappointment.
