Don't listen to the naysayers. This helmet is excellent for the money and it is DOT. IT IS NOT SHORT NOR SMALL IN SIZE. I had a short brain bucket helmet that I was using previously, but I always thought it wouldn't help me much if needed. This helmet is MUCH bigger, and the chin bar snaps up nicely. The sunglasses DO snap down far enough to block glare. The helmet feels solid. I thought the LED was not quite as bright as expected, but when I brought it into a dark room, I felt better about it. At night, it should definitely help. I have a bunch of AAAs, so I'll try it during the day as well. Anything to keep this distracted cagers off me. No problems for me. I am happy with this purchase. Very comfortable and easy to use. The shade flips nicely out of the way. The only suggestion I have for this is to get a fog stopper so your visor doesnโ€™t steam up as you are unable to open it a tiny amount

The Helmet is as described and fits pretty well using the measurements. The fabric on the head band is a mesh and rubs against the forehead. There is a lot of wind noise that comes with this helmet going anything above 20 mph.

I received this helmet as a gift from my hubby so that I can ride my e bike with him during the cold weather change here in NYC. I feel like an astronaut in a space suit while wearing this...lol It blocks out all cold wind, blowing dust & particles, and keeps my face & whole head warm! I had to get used to feeling like my head was a bit heavier, (and bigger. I bumped my head a few times while wearing it while I was off of my bike LOL). I also had to break it in because it was a little tight on my cheeks initially, but now it has adjusted to my head & face structure and doesn't feel too tight on my cheek bones. All in all I love it very much and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good comfortable helmet while biking. The light on the back looks so cool at night time as well! :-) ... show more

I like the built in visor and the location of the switch. The clasp is easy on and easy off no buttons. The helmet fits great. Itโ€™s everything I needed in a helmet. Iโ€™m getting an intercom system and there are spaces for the speakers and it looks like a very easy installation so Iโ€™m happy.
