Firstly, these shoes are really comfortable. I work long hours and some days I have 13 hr shifts. I love sketchers and would recommend them to anyone as a first choice! How ever I noticed after 3 months of steady every day use the sole of one shoe is actually peeling apart. (My other pair of sketchers arch support type shoes were worn for a year before they wore out) Now I don’t know if it’s due to the environment I work in (frameshop, where there is debris and even glass on the floor at times) or just standard wear and tear. Still thought it was worth a mention. And while these are “walking” shoes probably for athletes and outdoors persons, these still work great if you are on your feet all day “walking” at a laborious retail job or office. ... show more

I am 70 years young, retired Army 24 years, I use to be a runner, now I am a walker, due to total knee replacements, lower back surgery and a lot or wear and tear on my body from the military.
