A very well made boot for a great price. Durable leather with double stitched seams. Easy on/off with high quality zipper. Very supportive yet very comfortable after a short break in period. Great for winter use with a good tread. My feet stayed warm but not overly insulated when wearing them inside during the work day. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

I was searching for days to find a decent looking Chelsea boot at a reasonable price, I had my eyes set on Blundstones but my wallet didn't agree, I even tried them on locally and didn't see what the fuss was about for a $200 pair of boots. So I decided to try these Skechers, I was skeptical even considering the brand, but I decided long ago that I can't be, "Too cool for school." all the time. I'm a grown man who shouldn't rest my ego on brand names. Nonetheless, I went ahead and bought these, I normally wear a size 10.5 in everything, sneaker, boots, except for Converse and LL Bean boots which I wear a 10 in because they run big. After reading several other reviews I felt confident ordering my usual 10.5, but when I got them and tried them on my heels slipped even with thick wool socks. So I quickly requested a size 10, Amazon doesn't even make you send the old ones back right away so I had both to try. The 10's fit snug but way better. I wore them all day in the streets of New York City today and they were awesome in 30-degree weather with a heavy wool sock. A few misgiving are, a. they are really hard to squeeze into at first especially with a heavy sock, you're better off with a newer sock that isn't too worn out or baggy around the heal, b. they came a bit scratched, the quality of the leather is such that it sort of leaves lots of flex marks, I hope after they wear in they will look nice, but I bought them for work so not too concerned, my last gripe is c I wish they were waterproof the sole is super rugged and comfy but that would be the icing, I decided to use Nikwax to treat them and probably will try and keep them above any deep puddles but sometimes in winter you just accidentally plunge into a freezing hole in the street. Conclusion I would definitely recommend especially if you're on a budget like me I'm always on one!

This is my 3rd pair in a row. I wear the hell out of these. 5 days a week at work and sometimes on weekends. I bought the second pair that I just retired after a year just before an urban hiking trip in Europe where we were easily doing 35000 steps a day. I then went on the rest of the year wearing them everyday at work. Very comfortable and well made. Don’t mind replacing every year with that abuse and price point! Please keep making this model!!!!

Side zipper makes putting on easy. The cushion inside is much better than I expected. Doesn’t feel like a boot at all. I take a 10.5 in all the Sketchers I’ve owned. This pair came in wide so I got these as my feet suffer from past gout issues. The fit is perfect. I am VERY PLEASED with the way Sketchers fit and feel. I would recommend these to anyone.

I have purchased many of these same pair of shoes from Big Box Store but the last 2 pair I have owned were ordered from Amazon. Not sure why but both pair fit differently. This last pair have been horrible just trying to get my foot into the shoe. Once my foot is down into the shoe the fit is decent. This type of shoe has a zipper on the side and allows the shoe to open up more for your foot to drop in. The last 2 pair I have ordered have had an issue and this last pair is really bad. Most of the time the fit is a little tight at first but usually break in within a couple of weeks of wearing them every day. The last pair I purchased never loosened up and I am having to use a pair of plyers to pull the back of them up over my heel. Like I said once they are on, they seem to fit ok. But now because they are so tight pulling them on the zipper has broken, which kind of leaves them no good because without zipping them up they flop around on your foot once they are on. I truly love these types of shoes but will have to go back to box store to purchase.
