I had surgery and wouldn't be able to bend over for a few weeks, so bought these thinking of them as "temporary" shoes since I wasn't going be tying laces for a good month. Wow - now that I am completely recovered and can bend down fine, I wear them every day as my standard shoes since they are light yet durable, comfortable, and no issues slipping off my feet even for long walks. And although I can bend down fine, I have to admit slip on-off is pretty darn convenient, so recommend them highly as your everyday shoe. Bought these for my husband as a gift. I didn't really think they would work like they're advertised to. But they do! You just step into them! No bending, and they stay on. I wish I had gotten them before my hip replacement because I could not tie my shoes. I couldn't bend over to do it, but I could have been just stepping into these.
