The majority of my shoes are size 14 Wide, other than my pickelball shoes, which are 15 EE. So it should go without saying that I have large feet, with years of experience struggling to find the right fit. Skechers has always been good to me in this regard; their 14 regulars have been a perfect fit. Until now. I ordered a pair of 14’s, and found them to be too large, so I added some sole inserts, and then a second pair of sole inserts, to no avail. They still flopped around as I walked. I initially purchased these for my husband for vacation travel. I was looking to get him a neutral-colored, versatile, lightweight shoe that would be comfortable for daily walking/sightseeing yet suitable for resort casual dining/activities. As a plus, they are easy to slip on/off when going through airport security. My husband is very picky about his attire and these are a departure from his usual choice of footwear, so he was quite skeptical until they actually arrived and he tried them on for the first time. As it turns out, he ABSOLUTELY LOVES them!!! So much so that he now wears them almost daily (whether for business casual days in the office or just out and about on the weekends) AND he recently ordered himself a second pair in another color. He even does a little dance whenever he puts them on. LOL! So far, his first pair have held up well after several months of constant use. The fit is true to size and they are machine washable. I had to return these and buy the ones that are called Archfit. They fit well but have a pretty much flat insole and I need shoes with arch support.

    • MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES EVER

I absolutely adore these shoes. I usually take shoes off as soon as I get home. Not these. I could leave them on forever. I ordered the double wide and they are a hair too big but nothing that makes them uncomfortable. I have numerous medical problems, feet, back, and hip but these shoes make once major problems very much manageable now. Easy on, easy off, and so comfortable to walk in. I can't imagine what they would be like for people without disabilities. They are worth double the price. A fellow old Paratrooper buddy spent $400 on some special shoes he ended up throwing away. I have a difficult time finding shoes that fit properly and are commercially available. Most stores don't stock my size. I bought a pair of Sketchers a few years ago when I actually did find them, but they finally wore out. When I saw Amazon had them, it was a no brainer. My feet are smiling! :)
