I've been walking using Sketchers Afterburn model. Recently I've had pain un my left forefoot area. I suspect it's from the slapping of my foot. The Afterburn doesn't have that much padding in that area. I bought these based on reviews and description of the model. Initially they fit great. I wear a 10.5 but bought an 11. I wear double socks when I walk. These GoRun models feel really soft. I like the look and they are lighter than the Afterburn model. I did my first 45 minute walk and I had no pain. So they are a success. The entire foot pillow is so different than regular Sketchers. Most of the Wright us cushioned for the mud to back so when you stride your weight us fully cushioned as you put your weight down when you stride. And you rill into into with no hard slapping. Time will tell how they hold up. But I like them and the price was very good. ... show more

Dealing with diabetic feet is a pain. So, every time when I am trying to get new shoes it might turn into quite long process despite the fact that before ordering I read tons of reviews to avoid ordering something that surely will not fit. Previously I was wearing NB, but wanted softer shoes. Out of several, this pair was probably the best. I walk 2.5-3.0 miles daily with added felt insoles for added comfort and dryness. No issues with comfort. Now - to the bad. After barely 2 months of walking, mainly flat concrete and asphalt of our streets, I have 135 miles on them and big doubts that shoes will survive another month. Both weared quite significantly under foot's ball. I'd expect holes through to show up quite soon. If you are OK with very low wear resistance, this pair is great. If you would like to use them half a year regularly - stay away. ... show more

I'm used to more of a track running show where the front padding is the major source as this one almost seems back heavy causing me to lean forward more. But i got these for walking due to an injury and I must say after a few days the padding in the back really does make a difference. Takes a bit of getting used to but they are really comfortable right out of the box. The Sketchers Goga matt insole is really squishy so until they break in it is an odd sensation to walk on them. These really helped for taking my walks in comfort. I’ve been a huge fan of the Go-Go Mat for years! These are my first Go Run cause usually I buy the Go Walk. I have a bad knee and back so good shoes are imperative to my comfort, and these are amazing!! Definitely buying these again!
