I received exactly what I ordered. Fit was spot on. They were well packaged, and I felt as if there was care in the condition they got to me. I find it way easier to get shoes on Amazon than thumbing through a generic collection at the local store in hopes they still have my size. The core makes it feel like my steps are assisted. The wide size not only stops my feet from hurting but also makes me feel I can wear them for hours on end.     • Regular fit too tight
When I first bought this shoe, it was to tight. The only replacement available in the same size was extra wide. This concerned me because I have never worn an extra wide. Rather than going up a size, I did decide to order the extra wide. When the shoe arrive, the label inside the shoe said wide. So I am not certain what I got. In any case, this shoe is great.     • Kinda loose fitting-
Size: 10.5 Color: Black/Red
Nice looking shoe and in general, it was quite comfortable and sized 'ok', however, it was not a snug fit. I could feel my feet floating within the shoe. Perhaps that was accentuated by the fact that I had also ordered a pair of New Balance and both arrived at the same time. The New Balance fit like a glove- typical NB. So switching back and forth between wearing them around the house for a brief period, I concluded these would with time only become even sloppier on my feet.     • Finally a good workout shoe

I tried several brand running shoe to use for my HIIT workouts as I have some slight issues with a bone in one of my feet. These fit good, feel good and work great so far. One thing I noticed is that I feel like I putting more pressure on the outside of my feet/soles which I don't experience in any of my other shoes. And, that's a great thing! It means I'm not putting as much pressure on my arches nor that aforementioned bone. I'll be ordering another pair soon. ... show more

    • My First Skechers and I don't regret the purchase
This is good shoes. They are comfortable, fit perfectly for Men's size 9.5 with plenty of room in the toe box. It's also very stable but not hard like the other trail shoes I have. Since I got the mid-top version, it protects my ankle as well and overall I felt very secured on my feet. Due to the water repellent nature of the material used, it's very easy to clean. I just use a wet rag and wipe down the trail dusts and the shoes are like new again. The grip is excellent on down slopes. Haven't worn the shoes in the rain just yet but when rainy season comes I will be wearing this to run errands and go to the gym with it, then I should know how good this shoes is for rainy season. I don't feel like spending $150+ for other big names brands with gore-tex, I'm sure they are probably even better than simply water repellent featured on this shoes, but hey I'm in So Cal and we don't rains as much. ... show more

    • I am not a fan of shoe shopping...
... as a matter of fact, my last pair of Nike tennis shoes wore thru the sole now, and are about 10 years old. My wife insisted we replace them. We went to the local shoe place and I found this brand to be very comfortable and bought a pair with red speckles in the sole, which I found interesting, although a little flashy for my taste. My wife couldn't wait to dispose of my old stand bys. After a few outings with these shoes, I found that it seemed as if I was walking on a cloud, so I was interested in finding another pair without making a special trip. I discovered there are several styles/colors of soles and found this sole with upper combo to be more appealing to me for about 20% less than at the brick and mortar. Now I have an every day pair as well as a more "formal" pair, and they both kind of feel like I am floating when I walk. First, take a look at my photo. These are all Skechers size 9. The Afterburn model on the right, which I have purchased nearly 10 times is my standard, very comfortable and perfect fit for my slightly wide foot. The Skechers shoe on the left is the same size Last (shoe form) as the Afterburn. The Go-run (middle) last is much more narrow and the 9 size is shorter than the others, so this is too tight for me. In my opinion this shoe runs short and narrow. Otherwise, it is comfortable. It is light, lighter than the others shown here. I wouldn't use it for hiking, but walking or everyday casual would be appropriate. Three stars, because of the inconvenience of returning and reordering Update - I returned the size 9 and ordered size 9 1/2, which turned out to be a better length, but the width was about the same as the size 9, and after just sitting for 5 minutes, my feet were in pain. So now I'm not sure if I should try the extra wide in a 9 or 9 1/2. I have never had this difficulty buying Skechers before.
