Saw these shoes in the store for $69. Before I bought them I looked on Amazon and found the a lot cheaper. They came, fit, and I loved them. I just ordered a second pair in a slightly different color.

First, take a look at my photo. These are all Skechers size 9. The Afterburn model on the right, which I have purchased nearly 10 times is my standard, very comfortable and perfect fit for my slightly wide foot. The Skechers shoe on the left is the same size Last (shoe form) as the Afterburn. The Go-run (middle) last is much more narrow and the 9 size is shorter than the others, so this is too tight for me. In my opinion this shoe runs short and narrow. Otherwise, it is comfortable. It is light, lighter than the others shown here. I wouldn't use it for hiking, but walking or everyday casual would be appropriate. Three stars, because of the inconvenience of returning and reordering Update - I returned the size 9 and ordered size 9 1/2, which turned out to be a better length, but the width was about the same as the size 9, and after just sitting for 5 minutes, my feet were in pain. So now I'm not sure if I should try the extra wide in a 9 or 9 1/2. I have never had this difficulty buying Skechers before. The standard Last worked every time. 2nd photo shows Size 9 reg Afterburn on left foot Size 9 1/2 reg GoRun on the right foot You can easily see how narrow the GoRun is ... show more

I have thrown out at least five pairs of sketchers in the last 10 years because they were not wide enough. I have also been throwing them out because of their fascination with memory foam; it was never a good idea for shoes. But these seem to fit a lot better and are much more comfortable so far. I have been truly happy with the Skechers brand. Quality product that does not “fall apart” after putting many miles on the shoe. I would rate it 5 stars if the soles were more “substantial”. I prefer Vibram soles but, these are more than adequate.

I have been searching for a shoe that allows me to comfortably stay on my feet on concrete floors plus supplies some ankle support when on uneven ground, beyond what normal low Walking or cross trainers supply. I saw the mid-rise version of the Skechers Men's Gorun Altitude and decided to give them a try. The higher ankle support is not uncomfortable at all, it is well padded with soft materials. I am a big guy, and these shoes have been wonderful, even game changing in the week I have been wearing them so far. My feet don't get tired throughout the day and are not sore at the end of the day. I am buying a couple extra pairs to have in case this style disappears. I wear a 13W and fit as it should. I have no idea how long they will last, but seem well built. ... show more

This shoe looks exactly like the photo and feels like you are walking on air! It fits true to size - so order your normal size. It's so comfortable and WASHABLE! They are waterproof! Great shoe, will probably order at least one more pair for the fall before they sell out!
