  • Excellent shoes, fantastic packaging
Size: 14 X-Wide Color: Black
Aside from yet another Amazon delivery left on the fringes of the porch, where rain can hit it (and HAS, several times now) the product is excellent- great fit (and true Slip-Ons, unlike several previous "slip-ons" with openings so small, even a shoehorn couldn't get my foot in the shoe. The Sketchers were very good, easy to get on. What caught my eye from the start was the packaging. I know that's secondary to the product, but the previous shoes from other brands came in damaged boxes with the shoes carelessly placed. The Sketchers box and packaging inside were absolutely pristine- perfect condition, wrapped so nice. It was such a nice surprise compared to previous orders. And as said, the shoes fit great, feel great!. That perfect pristine packaging was clearly an indication of what was inside. It's just too bad that the drivers can't seem to realize that leaving a delivery on the front of the porch is going to get wet with rain coming down. You can't push the box towards the front door one or two feet? It's simple logic, common sense! Anyway, still an excellent shoe. ... show more

  • Great walkers - very comfortable and breathable
Size: 12 X-Wide Color: Black
These are great sidewalk walkers or mall walk shoes. Lightweight but sturdy, and a nice cushioned spring to your walk. They seem able to tolerate freezing temperatures (20-30F) without problems. Easy to maintain, don’t pick up crud, and style works most for business casual uses.

  • Both versions are good, but here's the differences
Size: 8.5 Color: Navy/White/White
I'm switching to these from running sneakers (I was using 361 and Brooks brands) for usage at work. I do 10 hours shifts in a Level 1 Trauma Bay, soooooo lots of time on my feet. I liked the running shoes for a while, but it got annoying that they would constantly update the models and change them so drastically that I couldn't keep any consistency. They also were wicked expensive. Casually, I tend to wear Vans Slip Ons much of the time, so I gravitated towards these Sketchers... which don't look quite as fashionable as Vans, but they're not awful and I'm more interested in the function. Vans are flat as a pancake and will beat the crap out of your feet at my job, even though I do like how much you can feel the ground surface. I started with a pair of the GogaMax insoles. They were great over the course of 3+ weeks, during which I could feel them break in nicely. They started out feeling a bit snug, but the insole broke in and I believe the mesh also began to loosen just a bit on the uppers, so eventually they started to feel a bit roomy actually. So I know some reviews say they run small, but I've had the opposite experience. The GogaMax is nice and squishy. I had previously had a bit of an ache in my achilles area that has since disappeared since getting these. They breathe way better than the running sneakers, and better than canvas Vans. I read a review here that said they were hot and not breathable.... that's insane to me. Totally airy in my experience. Weight is also an issue for me. One of my legs is a prosthetic above the knee. That's a lot of heavy equipment that's controlled only by my hip. The shoe has a large effect on that, because it's all the way at the bottom and there's sort of a pendulum effect if the shoe is very heavy. Both types of these GoWalk shoes are maybe the lightest I've ever worn. Not too important for most people, but if it matters to you... definitely try these slip ons. However, I just got a pair with the GogaMat insoles yesterday. Why? No good reason... I'm in need of a new pair of shoes around the house, for light yard work and stuff like that. Figured I would compare the two insoles, and the ones I like the least would be relegated to yard duty. Also, the GogaMat insole is like $10 less on average... why not? For those wondering if the GogaMat is not squishy, fear not. The GogaMat is still squishy, it is just a bit less squishy than the GogaMax. It's also possible that the GogaMat has more "bounce" than the GogaMax, but I'm going to need more time to test and confirm that. I am also noticing that the GogaMat feels less snug in the new phase... I'm not sure if that's because of the insole difference, or perhaps it's just a manufacturing inefficiency. The GogaMat already feels nearly as roomy as my GogaMax shoes, and I've just started using them yesterday. I'll update this after the GogaMat pair is broken in after a few weeks at work. But my first impression is that most people would barely notice the difference between GogaMat VS GogaMax insoles. One is squishy, the other is squishier. Buyers mostly need to decide if they want to spend a few bucks more for additional squishiness. ... show more

  • Out-of-the-box comfort and relief for retail work.
Size: 12 Color: Charcoal
I currently work in one of those big box home improvement warehouse stores and, while wearing Red Wing boots with toe protection makes sense, standing and walking 10+ miles a day on bare concrete really did a number on my feet and body (even with fancy insoles). I caved and bought these after reading some orthopedic webpages (I also needed to replace some warm-weather light grey loafers anyway) and after a couple of shifts the improvement was night and day. These are now my daily drivers at work and when walking on pavement. I'm not sure how well they work "off-road" when hiking and working in the dirt, but for anything involving indoor/outdoor pavement, they are perfect. The easy slip-on is neat too and, while I haven't tried it yet, the machine washable feature looks promising. I've only had them for a month (walking 10+ miles a day) and they're holding up perfectly. It is true that they're thin and probably won't hold up if you frequently scratch/scuff/snag them on stuff, but you really shouldn't be doing that often anyways if you're a careful worker/walker IMO. In any case, these are great shoes and will buy them again once they begin to wear out (possibly going for some other colors too). ... show more

I have had multiple pairs of these shoes. They are my everyday shoes and appropriate for a variety of uses from taking a walk to social settings. They are comfortable, resiliant and resonably priced.

Perfect house shoes. Super comfortable and still supportive. Went from pool slides around the house to these and I’m happy for the change.
