My foot was badly broken in an accident last year. I must’ve tried at least 20 pairs of shoes- and because I have a lot of joint damage as well as shattered bone and cartilage, every pair of shoes felt like I was walking on a brick. Until I got these. Immediately upon trying them on I took my first couple steps and instead of being in pain it felt like I was walking on a cloud. These shoes completely conform to my feet and provide the most amazing arch support. I’ve ordered another pair and if and when they go on sale again, I may just order a third. I wear them absolutely everywhere! I started wearing them in the summer and when winter came around I was a little worried about wearing them with socks as I didn’t want to stretch them out. They’ve never been perfectly tight on the top of my foot, but not too to lose that it’s an issue. They have never slipped off. I have been wearing them with regular socks and I can even get my feet in them with most fuzzy socks, but they don’t seem to have stretched out so they are still fitting well when I am barefoot, which is great. They are also easy to wash. Apparently you can throw them in the washing machine but that makes me a little nervous and I feel it’s unnecessary. If needed, I simply wash them with a bit of soap and water and rinse in the shower. Then I’ll set them in the windowsill (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. I’ve worn them almost constantly for over a year and they barely show signs of wear at all. They aren’t the most fashionable shoe I’ve ever worn, but considering that I will probably never be able to wear 90% of the shoes in my closet again, my focus when it comes to footwear now has to be comfort and support. I’ve tried so many brands (much more expensive ones too), but nothing is even remotely as comfortable as these. Thank you Skechers for allowing me to to walk comfortably again, and please never stop making these amazing shoes!! ❤️ ... show more
