Definitely runs smaller than shoe size. The opening is also small, which makes it hard to get foot in the shoe. I would say that it runs 1/2 size small. But very stylish boot and comfortable. Can't wait to complete an exchange.

Hoping this will help others .... I usually go a half size up when I buy sketchers bc they always seem to run a little bit small. I usually wear an 8 but got 8.5 and I'm glad i did. I have small(ish) feet, thin. these are just a little snug but are still so comfy and warm! I've only wore them once so far so in time they will "stretch". If you want an ankle boot that's easy to get on & off - these aren't for you! they are a bit hard to get on, but not a problem for me. I LOVE these boots! ... show more

These are super comphy ONCE you get them on. They are very hard to slip your foot into, I have almost torn off the cuff trying to put them on. I'm hoping they stretch out and get easier to put on. Like I said, very comfortable to ware all day, just hard to put on.
