I love these sandals! The stretchy - but not too stretchy - top cradles my feet perfectly. I have a bunion on one foot and it is not irritated in the least, and best of all, it's not evident when I'm wearing these. The thick sole is very stable and the footbed has a nice 'orthotic' feel to it. Just enough of arch support to make wearing them all day long comfortable. And I feel safe driving in them. I give a 4 stars because these are hard to get on. At first, I could barely get my foot it, the elastic was so tight. After about ten wearings, the elastic loosened up, but its still challenging to pull up that heel strap. The good news - my plantar fasciitis has improved after months of suffering. So if you have strong fingers and hands to get these on your feet, go for it. Weak or arthritic fingers, you will have a lot of trouble. ... show more

Note! If you wear a half size, go DOWN to the whole size. I am usually a 9.5 in all of my Skechers, so I ordered a 10. However, when they arrived, they were way too long! I exchanged them for a 9 and they are perfect! Firm stretchy fabric, but not too tight and holds your foot in place very well. I like the gel sole for my bony feet. It fits my foot just right and looks good with my compression sox. The sole and fit gives me walking confidence. I'm in my early 80s with balance problems. Plus the open toe is good for my fungus big toe nails.

Unfortunately Sketchers engraved their name into the heel bed of these shoes. Very dumb place. I bought a sticky back shoe pad to cover this. Those of us with troubled feet don't need any more grooves and ridges under foot. Now I do love these shoes.

I have flat feet, and these shoes offer the support I need. I also need a slightly elevated heel, and the height of this shoe is just right. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the white platform.
