I bought new skates, and they were obviously difficult to tie tightly, and worse yet, the laces are absolutely too short. Switching to these from socks has helped immensely! I'm able to cinch them tighter without cutting off circulation, and feel more comfortable on the ice. Good bang for my buck.

Good quality but too slippery. Foot slides all over in my skate with these. Have been using the feet of old footed tights by danskin but decided to try these instead. No matter how tight I tie my skates my foot moves and my bunga pads wadded up on my ankle for the first time ever with these because they are so slippery.

Works great. They are indeed socks. In truth, if you're new to skating (or whoever), don't skate in tennis shoe socks, skate in these.
