I bought these for rollerblading, something I haven’t done since I was 10 and now I’m in my 30s and wanted some pads because I’m not sure how clumsy I’ll be. I appreciate that the knee pads don’t look like cheesy, circular, plastic bubbles on my legs..they have more of a rectangular shape, which is more fitting. I love that the knee and elbow pads go on like a sleeve, and are adjustable with the Velcro straps. They are flexible and movement is not restricted. This sure beats the cheap pads I had as a kid. Not only does the hard shell protect your joints, but there is additional surrounding padding extending from all sides around that plastic. I’m 5ft4in and bought the adult size pads. Perfect fit. I bought these for protection as I learned to roller skate. I didn’t want to invest a lot in a new hobby in case I decided it wasn’t for me. I chose this set because it’s relatively inexpensive. Everything is as shown in the product photos and video. The knee pads and wrist guards fit well; they are not too bulky. They have kept me from getting scraped whenever I fall down, which is often. I don’t wear the elbow pads often. They’re fine, I just prefer to keep my arms bare. I like that the pads slide on and have Velcro straps to secure them. The whole set is comfortable and sturdy. Very well constructed. I bought another set of pads from another manufacturer because they we “cute.” And that’s when I saw the difference in quality. The cute set was poorly constructed, slid down my legs and arms, and the stitching was coming undone. I immediately returned them and went back to these. They fit well and have kept my kid safe. Just would like them to be a bit more durable. The guards have come loose from the fabric on the knee pads in particular.

I wanted to get all my skating equipment from one place so I went ahead and tried my chances with this top choice. I checked the reviews and was happy with what I read out of all others. This product looked more complete, delivery was breezy props to Prime for that, when I got the product the presentation was appealing, I like that they provided a nice string bag to keep all the elbow, knee pads and wrist guards together. So this may be a review more so for the company than just the product alone. I had a minor issue with one of the knee pads in the set. I emailed the company, sent a picture of my order and my issue and the sent me out a new one in a jiffy! They didn’t give me any hassle whatsoever. Now moving onto the product itself, it fits well and I did have a fall from a scooter while wearing the product. When I normally would have been limping the next day I got right back up and went back into action. Because they didn’t all fit I can’t say how well they work or how long they last. I will say that they are very pretty, they fit very snug and seem like they’d do a wonderful job at protecting the skin. However, I have heavier built legs compared to my arms & wrists. I’m 5’2 and about 130lbs. I read the description + reviews and had decided Medium was the way to go. It fit me well except for the knees, I could barely get them on. Because of this I was worried that purchasing a size Large would no longer fit my arms & wrists. After reading a previous review detailing how they had a similar problem and the company shipped them a larger set to make up for it I had decided it was worth it to reach out. If not for said review I wouldn’t have even thought of doing that. It was very misleading because they let me know that that’s not possible, that they could only discount my next purchase. I ended up returning them. My advice for anyone with the same issues/ concerns as me with not all of the pads fitting: buy them all separately, in different sizes.
