I wanted to get a board for my daughter so she could learn how to ride without breaking the bank, or her neck. The cheap boards tend to be far less stable and thus more dangerous than well constructed boards, but this one rides pretty nicely. The trucks are a little squishy, but not a deal breaker. Wheels and bearings are good enough for the street and roll without too much extra pushing required. I bought this board for my sons 4th birthday. I was weary of the quality since the price was so great, but when it showed I was amazed at how well made the board was. It rivals top brands with the 7 later maple, and quality grip tape. The star of the show is the aluminum trucks, I am 265lbs and these trucks road smooth and sturdy! The wheels are smooth and strong.
