These pads provide a large area of protection which is what we wanted for our 6 year old learning to roller blade. They are a soft material and overall would be comfortable. The issue is the Velcro is horrible, the straps continually pop off which is very frustrating.

Got these to go with the mint pennyboard and helmet for my 9yo. They are easy for her to get on and off and good quality. She hasn’t complained about having to put them on so that’s a plus.
