Amazon lists this bench with a length of 65" and Width of 29.5", and that is what I expected when ordered. Upon arrival I assembled the bench and thought it looked small. The dimensions are 53" long and 23" wide. The quality is very good but don't expect the size to match.

    • Pretty cheap. In the first few weeks of operating ...
There's a reason Sjobergs doesn't provide any detailed pictures of the vices for this bench. To keep the vice from racking, two squares of 3/4 ply are stacked and milled to accommodate the screw and the two chromed tubes that the vice rides on, then bolted under the bench top. Pretty cheap. In the first few weeks of operating the tail vice, the splined nut that the screw rides on came out of its pressed-fit place in the apron. I re-aligned it and screwed the vice down and squeezed it back into place. But who knows how long that will last. Otherwise, the bench itself is good. Flat, and sturdy for its size. I did an initial sealing with boiled linseed oil. It looks good. ... show more

Unbelievable quality. Rock solid, easy to assemble. You can make a workbench cheaper but it won’t be this high quality.....worth the money, get the casters for it like I did.
