This feels comfortable next to skin and the zippers are quiet. Having a built-in facemask with hood means one less thing to carry, and the facemask is both breathable and keeps my face warmer on chilly mornings. On Long Island the deer often look up to check for tree stands and I've been stared at by deer numerous times, usually when they're 20 yards or less from me. So long as I remain pretty still (and the wind doesn't work against me) the deer figure they're just imagining things and go back to browsing after a minute or two. The sleeves have thumbholes and a built in flip-over mitten top that's a light fabric but gives a bit more coverage when sitting and waiting for the next deer to appear. If I could give this a higher rating, I would that’s how great it is. The coat is used for hunting by my 21 year-old granddaughter. She is very picky and says it’s the best. It’s comfort is outstanding and she can still do her bow hunting with ease and doesn’t find a constricting.

Sitka doesn’t disappoint. This not only is extremely warm, but it doesn’t cause sweating. Sitka has mastered the breathable, but warm material blend. Highly recommend if looking for a lightweight garment, that keeps you warm and makes you forget it’s cold.
