SITKA MEN'S CORE LIGHTWEIGHT CREW LONG SLEEVE SHIRT. Built from the same moisture-wicking fabric as the Core Lightweight Hoody, our Core Lightweight Crew LS makes for a solid base layer. Whether used as a standalone piece during hot weather or layered into your system, the Core Lightweight Crew will perform across all seasons regardless of the pursuit. WHY WE MADE THIS. Hunters are in need of a foundational next-to-skin piece that can span temperature variations throughout the seasons in order to regulate heat and sweat. Our approach was to build a base layer that, when worn, feels like you were hunting with nothing on. We used durable polyester bi-component construction with Polygiene Technology to deliver breathability and moisture management. This crew can be worn as a standalone outerwear piece or layered into a system for all-season hunting.

I bought the long sleeve for warm days during early bear and grouse season in Western WA. Love the pattern and it seems to be made well. I just received Sitka’s core lightweight long sleeve shirt. As I have not had the chance to test it in the field, this review is strictly to help guide potential buyers on fit. just for comparison sake, I am 6’2 225lb and I typically wear XL in most shirts and jackets. When researching, I found just a few reviews concerning how Sitka gear fits. According to their sizing chart I would be and XL. Most say it fits true to size, however, I played it safe and ordered a size up as I am sometimes on the border between XL and XXL depending on the merchant. I made the right decision. The XXL fits perfectly. Not baggy or too short and still enough room should you have another base layer beneath. If you are on the fence concerning the size, I would definitely order a size up. I like the camo pattern and the light weight of the material. I would say if you don't like your shirt fitting tightly go with a larger size or if your on the fence of 2 sizes go with the larger one.
