The Duck Oven Jacket is your CORE’s best friend on late season crispy-cold days. We’ve cleverly united the wind protection of GORE WINDSTOPPER and the lightweight insulating qualities of PrimaLoft, with Gradient fabric on the bottom third to make tucking in to your waders or bibs seam-less and non- restricting. The new Duck Oven features a more robust GORE WINDSTOPPER laminate, the addition of upper chest pockets and a high-gauge polyester knit face with mechanical stretch bonded to a high-loft fleece backer.

I got this on sale so the price was great. The overall thickness of this jacket doesn't convey how warm it really is. If the temps are not below 50 degrees don't wear this jacket. Blocks 100% of the wind and will keep you toasty. I was on the fence about Sitka gear as they are very expensive. They will make their worth known once you buy them. This jacket is incredible. I used it on a week long hunt in ND and was comfortable and warm with just base layers and a hoodie in sub 30* weather. Pretty warm jacket that you can wear on cooler days and warmer days works super well with my waders if your looking for one in the super cold days however I’d get the boreal jacket over this for 30 degrees up this is a great jacket I really like the hands pockets in this jacket and the fleece feels nice ... show more

Ridiculously comfortable, windproof and waterproof. It was a last-minute panic-buy for me. I used them for fly fishing in Tierra del Fuego where it was very windy and cold (just above freezing), without a wading jacket. My feet got cold. The jacket is well-engineered, made well, and its design was well thought out. Typical for this brand, Sitka gear costs a bit more but you get what you pay for, and it was well worth it.
