The Duck Oven Jacket is your CORE’s best friend on late season crispy-cold days. We’ve cleverly united the wind protection of GORE WINDSTOPPER and the lightweight insulating qualities of PrimaLoft, with Gradient fabric on the bottom third to make tucking in to your waders or bibs seam-less and non- restricting. The new Duck Oven features a more robust GORE WINDSTOPPER laminate, the addition of upper chest pockets and a high-gauge polyester knit face with mechanical stretch bonded to a high-loft fleece backer.

I got this on sale so the price was great. The overall thickness of this jacket doesn't convey how warm it really is. If the temps are not below 50 degrees don't wear this jacket. Blocks 100% of the wind and will keep you toasty. I was on the fence about Sitka gear as they are very expensive. They will make their worth known once you buy them. This jacket is incredible. I used it on a week long hunt in ND and was comfortable and warm with just base layers and a hoodie in sub 30* weather. It holds up to light rain but I don't recommend it as a pure wading jacket. Lots of pockets which is great and I love the thumb loops. Another great product by Sitka. ... show more

Ridiculously comfortable, windproof and waterproof. It was a last-minute panic-buy for me. I used them for fly fishing in Tierra del Fuego where it was very windy and cold (just above freezing), without a wading jacket. My feet got cold. The jacket is well-engineered, made well, and its design was well thought out. Typical for this brand, Sitka gear costs a bit more but you get what you pay for, and it was well worth it. I bought this jacket for late season mountain hunting. Normally XL-size is the proper fit for me, but in the case with this jacket, it was just a bit too small, the arms and shoulder width is very tight. I returned the XL version and ordered a 2XL which fits the arms and shoulder width better, but the body is quite large, which I think will be OK with one or two additional layers of clothing. ... show more

Unlike most other hunting gear clothing this isn’t cut for someone that is vertically challenged for their weight. I find most hunting clothes are baggy and short. I bought the large and can fit a base layer (UA Cold Gear) and a lightweight fleece zip-up without restricting movement. The only part of the fit that’s a little off is the arms. I’m 6’4” and trim, and I typically buy 35 inch waist pants and my arms are on the shorter size for my height (35” sleeve shirts). If you have long arms the large will be cutting it close. However the XL would have definitely been to big in the torso. The material has a premium and durable feel. It’s definitely worth the money. ... show more
