    • Malfunction issues and no replacement
The hoverboard started to malfunction within 3 months. When I contacted Amazon they contacted the seller. They emailed me instructions to reset the hoverboard which didn’t fix the issue and also stated they only have a 3 month warranty. Find another hoverboard to purchase besides this one because they cost too much to only have a 3 month warranty for a defect that is the manufacturer’s fault! I didn’t contact them right away when it did because a hoverboard malfunctioning is not at the top of my to do list however I’m leaving this review to warn others. ... show more

Very nice! My 6 year old grandson loves it! He took right off on it. Also, adults enjoy it as well. It’s made and designed very well! Only complaint is the battery life. I’m guessing because of all the lights. Although super cool it Would be great if you could cut the lights off to preserve the battery life. Can’t complain to much for the price! Extremely happy with this board! I searched very hard and this was the absolute best priced, and the coolest design. The board also goes up to 9.5 miles per hour. These hoverboards are great! Durable and easy to operate. Purchased two for my twin boys (age 9) and they love them. Learning curve was about 10 minutes and they were off and running. Wheels and hoverboard light up very bright. Had a few issues, first an incorrect color was sent and then one was defective, but the seller was top notch! Responded very quickly and helped me every step of the way with returns and replacements. I would highly recommend the seller and the hoverboard to anyone in the market for a well made, reasonably priced hoverboard. ... show more

Been over a week now and still haven’t received my return mail-in form from Lemongreen…getting really upset now as I have limited time to return this product and I shouldn’t have to pay return postage for a defective item using Amazon return postage…if I don’t receive something next week, I’m calling my lawyer…getting very irrational with the inconvenience companies like this put us through…we live in a digital age and it should take no more than 2 mins to send a form via email or amazon link…still waiting on my prepaid postage!!!! Disappointing Christmas for my Autistic son as he loves gadgets like this….only to find out it doesn’t work at all. Funny how I paid nearly $200 for a device that only lights up when charging. Took me months to save up for something like this for my kid and left with the worst feeling as a parent…It puzzles me that a company sends me a product in a plain/blank cardboard box with no printed images on it or details of what’s in the box to begin with…I read the quick/detailed instructions thoroughly back to front and still have no good outcome on this device….and yes I am pretty proficient in technology and this should be a cake-walk….definitely defective and still curious if this is a bad company or just a simple fluke that passed inspection….I’ll be sending this product back in hopes they will rectify with a model that actually works! ... show more

    • Lasted just shy of two years.
I thought I'd leave a review since I just came here to order the exact same product about two years later (just different color). My son is turning 14 this month (but for comparison is still the size of a 10 year old). My son has used and abused this hoverboard (bought in Sept 2020) and a few months ago it started having issues, same thing noted below about the hoverboard just shutting off COMPLETELY and full brakes mid ride, which has caused a flying teenager and some tears and bruises, a few times. Other issues after about two years of use were what you could imagine after beating something up: the balancing also didn't work correctly at all times (hoverboard had a mind of it's own/more bruises), battery life started to deteriorate, parts of the plastic have broken off from many hits into walls or corners ( I SERIOUSLY sliced my toe open on plastic that was broken, my fault for not duct taping that spot sooner knowing it was broken)....but overall I paid $160 two years ago. We definitely got our money's worth! I only rated it one star lower because of the full shutdown, braking and kids go flying issue that's a little wild and scary should we have been outside on pavement or something. ... show more

The battery seems to last forever with the amount of time my daughter spends on this hover board. The speakers for Bluetooth sound so clear. She’s used it inside and outside and it’s held up amazingly for a year now. No problems with anything and all of the lights still work and look great! We’ve had issues with some well-known named hoverboards that cost a lot more than this one. I would choose this one over them any day!! ... show more

Very impressed with this product. Bought this hoverboard as a Christmas gift for my daughters and they absolutely love it. Set up was pretty simple as it was plug and Play. The instructions that came with it were very basic however and some of the key features of the hoverboard are not included in it. The hoverboard is made out of very durable material and safe. Some of the main features that I like about it is that it lights up during the night, you can connect to it and play music via Bluetooth and and also has a safety feature where it beeps if you're over speeding. While the instructions were not great on how to operate this, my daughters were able to to get it going as they had some experience with a similar product in the past. ... show more

    • Bought for my son’s 7th birthday
Omg best gift ever. It lights up like crazy, it connects to Bluetooth (although he does have to keep my phone in his pocket, doesn’t link past 15 feet), and he was zooming around on it within ten minutes. My only complaint is it doesn’t wait for the person to stabilize before it goes so I have to hold both his hands while he steps on because it immediately tries to go with the slightest pressure. But it’s awesome, I even figured out how to ride it- not nearly as well as my son- but it is still so much fun. He said it was the best gift he’s ever gotten! It’s very sturdy but it is HEAVY, which I guess is what you want from something your child is riding. He loves riding it when it gets dark out because of the light show on the wheels and the front of the hover board. We went with the Gold and it is so flashy and just what he was hoping for.
