I am using this cabinet to store my paint in my unfinished basement. I works perfectly for what I need. I was able to move the cabinet (it is a bit heavy, especially in the box), and assemble it all by my lonesome. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble. The instructions were pretty straight forward and easy to follow. I could see though why the recommend two people, but I am living proof that it can be done with one. I did have to get creative to get the shelves even when I was putting them in the cabinet. luckily it was the last step. If anyone has the secret on how to do this better, please let me know. Anyway, the cabinet is pretty sturdy and solid, has a lot of space and is easy to use. The cabinet has a key lock that is semi-secure. But I am just using it to hold paint, so there is no need for me to use the lock. I have not even taken the key out. The magnets on the door hold it closed securely. The cabinet is package pretty good and included a lot of packing. I am very happy with my cabinet. It is reasonably priced, sturdy and somewhat easy to assemble. Buyer be aware, the top coating color scratches very easily. Sometimes the screws don't fit exactly into place, but it is not difficult to put together. Because of those 2 reasons, I give the cabinet 4/5 stars. The locking mechanism works well enough, but it's not Fort Knox. I really like how conveniently space-saving it is and has lots of room for storing just about anything from small to medium electronics or books. The shelves are height-adjustable depending how large the items you are trying to store are. I would most likely order this cabinet again, a good bargain for sure. Pros: + space-saving with plenty of storage room + decent lock mechanism + will stay closed if not locked + height adjustable shelves Cons: - metal seems slightly flimsy and can dent easily - top coat paint chips/scratches easily - some parts feel cheap - assembly is only difficult in tight spaces for screws ... show more
