I purchased this metal cabinet for the purpose of using as a medicine cabinet because it was the right measurements I needed and it has a lock. It took two people about an hour and a half to finish it to completion. The box it came in was very heavy, but after opening it and sorting out all the parts and pieces, it was very easy to follow the included instructions and assemble it. All of the parts were included. There was even a Phillip's head screwdriver included, along with extra hardware for just in case. We used a divider plate to organize all of the hardware for a more streamlined assembly process (see photos). Halfway through assembly, we decided that it would go faster if one of us got an extra screwdriver and worked on one step while the other worked on another. It still ended up taking about an hour and a half. I recommend having two people assemble, but I could have absolutely done this job myself, it would have just taken a little longer. I also recommend using a headlamp because some of the tiny pre-drilled holes are difficult to see especially in a low-lit area. In my past experience of assembling probably more than 20 different cabinets, the doors are always the hardest, most tricky part. Not on this cabinet! The doors were very simple and took no time at all. The bottom metal insert to hold the door and allow it to swing also includes clear o-rings that provide cushion and includes lots of extra ones in case the door is not level. It’s a fantastic feature! It also includes feet-screws that help to make the cabinet more level and sturdy. They are completely hidden underneath the cabinet and you can adjust them through hidden holes on the bottom shelf so you don’t actually have to lay the cabinet down to make adjustments. This feature is a lifesaver! My cabinet is very sturdy and doesn’t wobble at all because I was able to stand it up and use a flat-head screwdriver to adjust the feet from inside the cabinet. It’s perfect. There are 4 magnets that are inserted on the outer corner of each door to hold it closed when it’s not locked, and it includes an extra magnet for extra strength that can be placed wherever needed. I put mine on the top right because when I tested the doors that’s where I felt it needed more adherence. Because of this feature, there is no need to lock if you don’t want to. The doors stay closed and secure. It comes with two keys and the locking mechanism works great and comes pre-installed on one of the doors. The shelves are sturdy and the metal brackets to hold the shelves are easy to hook into the pre-drilled slots. Each slot is one inch from the next slot, so if you measure a certain item you want to put on the shelf in inches, it’s easy to know exactly where to place the shelf in the cabinet. Overall, this cabinet was easy to assemble, the instructions were clear and easy to read, the pictures were not very detailed, but it was easy to follow along and match the picture with the specific part and know which way to piece it together. The cabinet is strong and sturdy, doesn’t wobble, and the doors work exactly like they should. The locking mechanism works and another perk is that the cabinet looks great! The color is very nice and it looks like a much more expensive piece that came from an office or furniture store. I will definitely be purchasing another one soon for my garage….. and anything else that a nice metal cabinet would serve as its purpose. Highly recommend!!

I’m so impressed with this metal storage cabinet! The durability and sturdiness are top-notch—it’s made of strong steel and feels incredibly stable once assembled. The storage space is amazing; it easily holds everything needed for my hair oil business, with room to spare. What really stood out to me was how easy it was to put together. Even as a woman with minimal experience assembling furniture, I was able to follow the instructions and get it done without any complications. All the parts were clearly labeled and fit together perfectly. Just a heads-up: the box is very heavy when it arrives—definitely not something you want to lift alone. Make sure you have help getting it into the house or garage. Overall, this cabinet is worth every penny. It’s well-built, spacious, and secure—perfect for garage organization or utility storage. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to tidy up and store things safely, especially since it can be locked!

(1) well designed and packaged (2) screw holes all line up perfectly (3) best assembled on a table that is over 6 feet long and over 3 feet wide (4) comes with a few additional screws and other assembly pieces than you need (5) adjustable shelves allow 12" between each (6) the price is very reasonable for what you get (7) the first 3 or 4 steps best accomplished with two people (to hold parts vertically while screwing the sheet metal parts together.

You gotta love putting things together to love this product. The process for assembly is not easy but the instructions are clear enough. No missing parts in mine. At least 4 dents out of the box but none were bad enough to obstruct the assembly or leave imperfections where eyes can see them. PRO TIP: Do not lean your weight on any part of this product during the assembly. I was on my knees while on top of one of the rear panels during the first few steps of assembly. I thought because it was flat on the floor it wouldn't be a problem on hard wood floors.. it was a problem. Now one of the panels has 6 or 7 round shallow dents from the pressure of my kneecaps. The metal sheets are thin but don't be fooled into thinking they are weak. The weight capacity and durability is nothing compared to a similarly priced wire wrack shelf but these seem designed just enough to handle putting some parts and tools away and out of sight. If you work in a machine shop or are a professional mechanic, this product is child's play and isn't worth your time unless its complimentary to your main storage. But for the average folk out there, you would probably be very satisfied. My only real complaint with this product is how much fingerprints stick to it. The finger prints seem to come off easily enough with basic cleaning products and a simple wipe. The paint doesn't seem to be coming off and is applied very uniformly across all parts of the build. I love this product and am anxious to receive my second one.

I needed 90 minutes to put this together. It looks great, sturdy. The doors open and close perfectly. The parts line up well enough that the door is held closed by the magnets without fussing around. Realize that some folks here received boxes that were damaged and parts were bent. That wasn't my experience. The one I got was great. I like that the shelves are removable and adjustable. Tools were included. I think it was a good value considering cabinet from the Home Depot are more than $400.
