This cover seems to be universal, which is good for units that you can’t find a specific fit cover for. It fits my Hustler Raptor SD quite “loosely” which I guess is ok, since a snug fit might cause heat build up. I’m not sure, I’ve never had a cover for my mower, which is likely why we have to repair it every season before using it! I’ve been parking it under a temp tarp shelter for about a year, until it snowed 3’ and took out the tarp, but starting it up this season was surprisingly easy for once, and all I can figure is because it was covered. Apparently it’s really important to protect your seasonal outdoor equipment from the elements. I’m not a dummy, I just figured outdoor equipment was designed to be outdoors all of the time. After the 6th year of fighting to get all of the equipment running; I decided to start covering it. This cover has vents on both sides and could probably be covered right after mowing, but I would suggest waiting an hour or 2 before re-covering it, especially if it lays directly on your motor like mine. It’s a bit of a process to get fitted properly tho. Trying to get the buckle in the right position feels a bit tedious, like it’s going to tear or something, so take it slow. I used a metal hanger to pull the strap under the deck to meet the buckle and it fit pretty well. It also has a tension bungee in the front (back?) in order to pull it snug, but it seems like that only goes a short distance and I can’t say for sure if it’s front or back. Which brings me to the one drawback of this item; no instructions. I really like to have instructions, as I have moments where I can’t figure something out, as in this case. But otherwise, it’s fairly self explanatory. I believe this lawn mower cover is a great purchase, especially if you don’t want to play small engine mechanic at the beginning of every grass season!

This fit ok on my 42" Ariens zero turn mower. It was a little oversized but the extra slack was not too big of an issue. The only thing is that water collects on the foot rest/floor of the mower after a rain. It's not really the fault of the cover but more so the design of the zero turn mower.

First off, I have a John Deere 42” cut mower. There is plenty of room for the mower and the deck. This is a pretty nice mower cover. The material seems to be pretty strong looking. There is a draw string on one end of it to help pull it tight. On the other end, there is a plastic buckle sewn to the edge of the cover. This is where I ran into a problem. I wrapped the strap around the back of the mower and hooked the buckle. I pulled it to tighten it up a bit and the strap pulled out without any problem at all. I am going to re-sew it back in. Personally, that is the only thing I found wrong with the cover. Nice cover at a good price.

I ordered this cover to protect my 54" zero-turn cub cadet mower, and it would easily fit a larger mower. The edge has a drawstring, so the cover can be snugged up a bit to customize the fit, and there is also a webbing strap to cinch it tighter as desired. Because this cover is so roomy, there may be a lot of excess fabric for a regular home riding mower, or for a smaller zero-turn. The cover comes in a nice, zippered bag for storage, if you're only planning on using the cover seasonally, for example during the winter months. I won't be using the bag because I keep my mower covered year-round when not in active use (birds get into the barn in the summer, and I want to protect the mower from the elements at all times). I'm not sure why there is a pocket on this cover, but that might be an important feature to someone, somewhere. This cover will serve its intended purpose nicely, and I'm pleased with it.

Like the other reviewer mentioned, the plastic buckle on the bottom ripped right out when I tried to tighten it. Seems like the better stitching could've been used in this area. Otherwise, the cover has been working great for my 42" Greenworks zero turn mower. Perhaps it's a little too big though, even tightening the drawstrings on the bottom as much as I could, it looks pretty baggy and ends up having many spots where water will pool up when it rains. I have yet to find a cover that fits a 42" mower exactly, many other covers say "up to" deck sizes of 54" or 60".

great big mower cover. This cover fits my 56" cut Cub Cadet with room to spare. I could easily put a 15 gallon shop vac and a backpack blower under the cover. This cover is made of excellent fabric. It weighs 3 lbs 10 oz, which is twice what my old cover weighed. It is a universal fit, so it does not conform to every protrusion on a mower, and it would not cover my leaf bags and reach all the way around the front tires. It covered my neighbors Husqvarna 46" deck completely including the leaf bags and chute. Overall a great waterproof cover that will last many years.

The material is not as thick as I expected. This is like half the thickness of the grill covers that I have. I size is also too big for my Toro TimeCutter zero-turn mower. Would have been nicer if there were more straps to secure the cover. The pull string also helps but not enough to keep the cover from flapping in the wind. I had to use bungee cords to secure the cover and make it not look like a huge mess.
