Nice and soft. I am glad I ordered a size larger than normal as this shrunk a good amount when I washed and dried it. It is thin and breathable material. Exactly like I wanted. I like to have a thin sweatshirt so I can just roll up my sleeves if I get too warm or throw a windbreaker over this sweatshirt if it is too cold. This accomplishes that goal wonderfully. My one complaint is that the hood seems to not be aligned properly with the shoulders. The left shoulder doesn't look quite even while the hood is up. The gap between the shoulder and neckline is smaller on one side. I never wear the hood up so that is not a problem for me but something to keep in mind if you plan on wearing the hood.

I first ordered this shirt in L but the fit was a bit snug for working out so I ordered the XL. It was OK in fit as far as width (girth) but way long in both torso and sleeves, Still love the comfort and material for when it is too warm for a sweatshirt and too cool for a t-shirt.
