The desk is very nice, but I didn’t think the design through when purchasing. I have a criss cross chair, as I like to sit cross legged when I’m working. My chair is the entire width of the space where you sit. Sometimes my dog will sit on the chair with me and if I’m not centered, I end up bumping my knee on the shelving unit. For the price, this is a very good and long desk! Plenty of space for the average person! It doesn't wobble or anything so quite sturdy! The desk doesn't feel rough to the touch, it is quite smooth so I feel comfortable having a laptop or tablet on here without worrying about it scratching. As for assembly, it was very easy to assemble. It took me only an hour by myself. I would say that this desk is a great value and for the average person with a laptop, tablet, some decor and maybe even a desktop computer, this would be a good desk!
