100% worth it! I've had my Singer's Day alto flute for almost a year, it played out of the box and sounds phenomenal. I will say that it has a couple of leaky pads, but that can easily be fixed during routine maintenance with a repair tech. (I still play it just fine with just putting some extra pressure on the keys.) I'm so happy that I finally have my hands on one of my dream instruments! ... show more

I got this thinking it would be a good deal if it was playable at all to give me some time with a low flute even if i have to get it checked by a tech first. I was wrong. It was a phenomenal deal ! This flute sounds as good as professional level and is amazing right out of the case. I play with a few local groups and have been the envy of them from the jump. This is one Amazing Flute ! My New Fav!!! I am watching and looking for a Contrabass Flute... ~hint hint hint~ ... show more
