I love my new coffee table I should’ve taken a picture with the lift up but the top does lift up so you can do projects or eat your dinner while watching TV. I’ve had a lift table for 22 years and it was time to update my living room, so I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable this is and it’s actually very sturdy. I took the picture this direction because I really like the barn doors and I would like everybody when they walk into my house to be able to see the barn doors. I think this is the only downside to the design in order to lift the table to be available to use on the sofa the table needs to be turned around, so you just see the solid side when you walk through the front door, so the only people that see the decorative barn doors are the people that are sitting on your sofa. It probably took two hours to put it together. It’s not hard it’s just a little time consuming and you really when I read the directions a few steps ahead so you know you’re going in the right direction but after it was all put together I think it looks beautiful. ... show more

This is a great piece of furniture. We really like the look and I was surprised by the quality of the parts (I didn’t strip anything), and the instructions were good. It turned out to be too small for our area though that is not the fault of the product. We measured and thought it would work. Love the color and sturdiness of this piece of furniture. Husband got frustrated putting it together, but finally got it together. Do wish the opening at the bottom (with "barn" doors) was on the other side of the coffee table, otherwise perfect in our living room

UPDATE: Reached out to the seller and they pointed out a flaw in the instruction manual and they agreed to send a replacement for the broken panel. My husband had to turn a few pieces around and the table was able to come together. Now we're waiting for the replacement to the panel that arrived broken so he can finish it. It's a pretty table but pack your patience with this one. This table has been a complete nightmare. First thing we noticed was the chunk missing from the table but we were willing to ignore it because Thanksgiving is only a few days away and we're expecting company and we need a coffee table. But after 2 hours my husband painstakingly putting it together he realized the next step (attaching the side panel) would be impossible to do because NONE of the holes lined up. He tried EVERYTHING, double checking all the instructions, making sure it wasn't due to an error on his part and looking through everything to make sure it wasn't his mistake but unfortunately, this table is defective and damaged directly from the manufacturer. Now we're stuck with a partially built useless table that we can't take apart because the instructions require you to use glue! This coffee table is beautiful! It is extremely sturdy, and they even provide wood glue. It is time consuming to put together. My spouse did this alone and it took about 3 hours. It took both of us to move it into place, as it’s very heavy. Love it!

This is so good looking!! Easy to put together and looks like I paid way more than I did! Only had it a couple of days and as long as it holds up = great purchase! If I had a choice, it would be cool to have barn doors on both sides!

My husband and a helper were putting the coffee table together. They were going slowly following each direction. When they got to attaching the sides everything that had been put together just fell apart as you can see in the pictures. It is not repairable. My husband is a carpenter so its not like he didn’t know what he was doing. The only way to make this right is for me to get a total refund. I loved the coffee table in the picture but I am now disappointed with this seller. UPDATE: the Seller is blaming the problem on the construction of the coffee table. The problem is with the cheap materials. UPDATE: I have been in contact with the seller. Due to the problems with this item the seller has promised to refund my money in order for me to buy another coffee table. This seller handles problems quickly and to the customer’s satisfaction.     • Mechanical lift is far too flimsy

The wooden parts are okay the doors are okay but the metal parts that let you lift and sit down the table top are garbage. I've had this for about a month now up and down maybe two three times a day and I'm always careful with it making sure there's nothing heavy on top, going slow, steady and the past few days it raises fine when you lift it up but when you go to put it back down one side refuses to go down all the way the last two to three inches it holds itself up. You try to make sure it's lined up perfectly and go even slower down same problem up and down and on the 10th or 12th time it finally catches and closes properly. I've had this for about a month and the metal parts are already failing that's the one place you can't cheap out on a table like this. Very disappointing because overall it's a good looking piece and it's generally solid. ... show more
