This bartender set has all the tools you need to mix cocktails but the quality of the individual pieces is less than you would want if you intend to make cocktails regularly. Everything is made from stamped or poorly assembled metal pieces. The jigger is two metal cups stuck together with a bad seam instead of a single formed piece. Everything just seems of poor quality, with no heft to the shaker, etc. In fact, the only piece in the whole set I found worthwhile is the muddler. It has a nice feel to it and actually works quite well. Oddly, the recipe booklet says it is for "mocktails" but only one recipe is for a non-alcoholic drink. Overall I give this bartending set a "Meh."

Bought to place in our camper to mix drinks on occasion. Has everything that we need and whatever we made thus far has seem to portion out correctly. Cleans easily.

If you enjoy hosting, or making a nice cocktail, this is the product for you. This set includes all the things that you'd need to mix and pour you and/or your guests a fine drink. Not only does it include a variety of pieces to make a wide range of beverages, but it has a stand to keep all of them organized and together. As an added bonus, it also comes with a mini cocktail book, so you have a collection of drinks to mix and serve. This is great for those who've only had drinks from a bar, and may not know how to mix them themselves. This is not only an attractive set, but highly giftable.

Nice Bar Rack. Better than some of the others I've seen or owned. This comes with everything you need as a novice or semi-pro bar meister just getting started. I was impressed with the wooden block. I had no issues with adding the items to it. You have to play around with which piece goes where, but overall it was pretty straight forward. We're making a new bar and this is a nice addition. We're happy with this set.

First thing I find when opening the box is a little recipe book for some common and some less common drinks. Playing with this might help decide which two bottles will rate the quick pours. It certainly has all the tools necessary to make a broad variety of drinks. It even includes a stand which easily holds all the pieces together so you aren't having to look for that one piece always missing. The only add I can think to this kit would be caps for the quick pours. If you are constantly entertaining and use the bar regularly enough it probably wouldn't matter, but for most it would be nice to be able to just close off the bottle between uses. Overall, a fine collection of tools.

I've always wanted a nice bartending set so was excited to get this. Unfortunately, I am somewhat disappointed in the quality of this item. I couldn't get the shaker sealed completely, so couldn't use it as a shaker - and the strainer didn't seem to strain very well, either. The holes in the stand don't seem to be the right size for the tools; I tried to emulate the picture, but they just don't fit right, they wiggle around and are not secure. Further, the stand isn't sanded - I got a splinter in my finger within ten minutes of unpacking it. The shaker is not the highest quality. It's clearly too lightweight to be made from strong materials, and I can see it denting easily. Of course that probably won't be an issue - because it leaks when you try to shake anything - so I don't see myself using it. The tools are the same; the materials are not the best quality, very lightweight and they don't have that solid feel to them. I haven't tried the pouring spouts yet, but I hesitate based on the experience (and mess left) with the shaker - but they might work well - they look like they have seals, at least, so honestly, I expect they would work. The shaker had nothing resembling a seal. It just doesn't seem like the set was very well thought out - there are two metal straws, which I don't expect will ever be used (who wants to tap their teeth against metal every time they take a drink?) - a brush to clean the straws (but not one to clean the shaker?) - and the strainer has an odd hole in the handle - I tried to figure out what it was for but had no luck. Overall I can't recommend this set; two stars - only because the booklet has a lot of nice recipes in it! Otherwise, I would probably have given it only one. :(
