It took about three hours to assemble. A second person makes one of the steps easier, but that only takes a couple of minutes. The holes for three of the many "cam locks" were not quite aligned correctly, but I was able to work around that with a shim that I made. Overall, I'm satisfied. I really wanted this table to work out because I liked the style and look, but unfortunately, both our original order and replacement had issues. The Original: It wasn't too hard to assemble, but when we got to the drawers, several of the pieces had cracks where the wood had split (several inches long) at the holes that had been drilled into the wood. It looked like someone tried to fill some of them in with wood fill. Other pieces had dents/scratches in the wood. I wrote the company about it, and they said they'd send me a replacement for the 4 pieces that were damaged. It took over a week to get them (they literally moved one state per day all the way from the west coast to the east coast), and when we did--they didn't send 4 pieces, and the ones they sent didn't fit the drawer bottom (the slit to slide the drawer bottom into was too small)! I called about this, and they said they'd have to investigate--that took several days and calls on my part just to be told the pieces they sent were correct and we'd have to send it back for a replacement. We sent it back. Replacement from Amazon: For starters, the drawer pieces in this were the same as we had with the original--meaning the replacement parts the company sent previously were 100% not right for our table. This table also had scratches--including on the tabletop! It looked like some (but not all) scratches had again been filled with wood fill. I'm sure there were other issues, but this was such a distressing experience that I blocked out most of it at this point. We didn't even try to assemble it--inspected all the pieces first, saw the issues, and back out to Amazon it went. What a waste of time and effort. This table is very similar (identical) to one sold under other names and brands at many other retailers--I debated trying one of them, but this experience was so off putting, I didn't want to try a third table. Yes, I'm aware this is a relatively inexpensive table, but you'd at least expect that the pieces wouldn't have been doctored to make them look like they were okay and that replacement pieces would be correct. I personally wouldn't want to have a table in my home that had scratches on the surface and wood fill in places, but if you're interested in a table that does the job of being a coffee table for maybe 3-5 years max and has a nice overall appearance (though likely susceptible to your own normal wear and tear), then maybe this is right for you. If you care about quality and want a table that is in good shape/quality for more than ~4 years, I'd shy away. Good table for a first apartment for someone just out of college or a young professional if you're okay with the fact that there are likely to be many flaws in the wood. I ended up purchasing a Pottery Barn coffee table instead--obviously, it cost three and a half times as much because they have their flat rate delivery--but at least I can trust that the table will be in pristine condition when it arrives (and good customer service to fix issues correctly) and excellent quality and durability for years to come. ... show more

This coffee table cost $332 plus tax. You'd think it would be a pretty nice, well made item. You would be mistaken. The finish was scratched, there was visible flaws from planing of the surface of the top shelf, Part C, joints didn't fit correctly, finish is uneven, showing bare wood at joints, stripped screw holes. Not even close to being worth the purchase price. I called the number in the instructions to order a replacement for Part C. It has to come from VietNam. No tentative time frame. A whole lot of extra work to return to Amazon, so I'll apply walnut stain to the unfinished parts, use Gorilla glue where necessary and live with it awaiting for Part C to arrive some day...... As of January 1st, mfg co. got the ship date wrong(March 2020), when invoice shows I received Dec 27, 2022. They said warranty was expired so they refuse to honor it. I sent them a copy of the invoice. Amazon came through and refunded me $104 bucks. Long story short: don't purchase from this company. ... show more

I very rarely write a review, but if you are considering this and undecided, I say go ahead and buy it. I found one other listing elsewhere on the Internet for a lower price, but it did not include shipping and I was not familiar with the company as far as any problems that I could count on being covered by Amazon Prime. I assembled myself with a friend, and it was easy. One drawer did not close fully without scraping and I simply filed away some of the wood for it to close smoothly. At this low price, I am not complaining about that minor issue. It is perfect for my home, and I love it. At checkout, there are offers to pay a small fee to deliver inside instead of dropping it off outside, as well as a very reasonable price to pay for assembly. ... show more

Color: Rustic Natural Aged Brown Style: Coffee Table
Not a quality product with many defects (scratches) but sturdy enough and since we have several small grandchildren we figured they would scratch it over time anyway. If you're looking for a smooth finish with minimal defects this is not for you. If you're looking for rustic then this works.
