Ordered two. They both came packaged like sensitive hospital equipment. I couldn't believe the attention to detail; they even packed the top and bottom (underside) on either side of the container. So, if something did happen (stab; scratch, etc) it would have hit the underside which you wouldn't even notice. All the stickers (A, B, Front, Back, Left, etc) were placed in spots where you wouldn't see them once the table was built; again the attention to detail was refreshing. The machining of all the holes was spot on. An extra bag of parts (just in case) and the Tables are Beautiful. The best quality piece of modular furniture I have ever assembled! The pieces seem hardwood and almost every side is finished - including sides facing inwards! Assembly was easy, took only 30 minutes or so. Despite my advanced degree I still ended up putting a screw in the wrong way and split the wood of the drawer. I requested a replacement part and SimpliHome was very responsive - excellent customer service, however, despite the split wood I was able to complete the assembly and the piece (even the drawer) was still extremely sturdy! We got two of these tables for our living room. We needed something smaller that matched our decor and we could put a floor lamp behind if we decided to. The installation went easy, however the legs on one of them were a bit uneven requiring me to shim it with an extra felt pad. Whatever, at least it’s not made of particle board or MDF. I only gave this 4 stars because the seller messed up on the shipping. They left the original UPS shipping labels on the box.l, so they were both sent BACK to Jacksonville (from our local distribution center) before coming back for delivery. An extra set of steps that added 4 days to the shipping time that would have easily been prevented had they removed, or covered, their original labels. ... show more

I'll just go from start to finish. The package arrived very quickly, a few days earlier than expected. Decent, and sufficient packaging. This comes with very sturdy hardware and assembly took approx. 20 minutes. Comes with a handy Allen wrench ratchet that really helped speed things up. Once assembled, it's sturdy with a solid design. It did not wobble and it has an overall heaviness to it so it doesn't feel like a cheap piece of particle board furniture. If I had to list one con it would be that once it was assembled and we put the drawers in, if you are standing right in front of the piece looking at the drawers, the one on the right is slightly off center in the drawer space where the left one is perfectly centered. It's really not that big of a deal, and hardly noticeable from any other angle. All and all we are extremely happy with this purchase! ... show more

Almost 2 years ago I purchased two end tables from this same product line. They were well made and assembled without difficulty. The quality of the narrow side table I recently purchased does not even come close to the quality of my previous purchase. One of the holes for the cam lock pin was drilled poorly (pic 1) and the pin would not screw in as it should. My partner had to put wood glue and toothpicks in the hole in order for the pin to have something to grab hold of. Not the best solution, but since it was already partially finished, to disassemble and then try to repackage it for return would have been that much more of a hassle. The other issue was the build of the side's "X" design, note the major gaps in the fit (pic 2). The fit & finish was perfect on the exterior and interior sides of my previously purchased tables (pic 3 & 4). It is obvious quality control was severely lacking when the new table was manufactured. I'd request a refund, but I did choose to "make do" with the poorly made item. I'll just hide the sides between my couch and recliner. I will never purchase another piece of furniture made by (or for) SimpliHome, and you'd be wise not to as well. 12/8/23 - pictures not in same order as submitted, but you should be able to see the bad fit vs. good fit interior & exterior of prior purchase. ... show more

Other furniture was easier to assemble - directions were poor and clearances didn't match up (some predrilled holes didn't align for poor alignment), and awkward assembly.
