I would like for the raised part around the head to be a little shorter, but then it might not stay on as well. The quality is great and it is very adjustable with velcro so I can wear it in multiple ways (hair up or down, higher on my head or lower, tipped back or forward). The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my recent vacation and I’m so happy I did. If you’re looking for something to protect your eyes and face while having your hair up or down this is what you need! The Velcro on the back securely strapped around my head and did not come loose while wearing it. My hair also didn’t get caught onto the the Velcro which I was afraid would happen. I always have my hair up so it was a plus that I was able to wear this while having my hair up. This also dried very easily when I got it wet in the pool. Overall I’m very happy I purchased this because my face did not get burned and my eyes were protected. It was very comfortable and did not give me a headache. Purchased for Horse Shows and my Son’s soccer games. It is a great hat! Nice wide brim is great sun protection. I have a smaller head and it is a little loose on me with the Velcro as tight as I can get it. The bow came unglued and I fixed it myself instead of going through all the mailing it back etc…I hope they read this and maybe adjust the Velcro to fit more snug on a smaller head. Just FYI... if you are looking to protect your scalp, this is NOT your hat. But the brim will cover your face. It is adjustable for just about any size head. It rolls up for travel. Having all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
