This organizer has to be assembled and it comes with extra screws and foot pads. The vertical file organizers that are attached to the top shelf have a usable space of 2.37 inches for each section which I liked since it meant it was wide enough for my needs. Also they are customizable up to a point- you can install all three components or less to create the usable space you desire. Please note that these components are not very sturdy and can bend if you are not careful. The drawer comes with 3 partitions which fit snugly so create, what I hope, will be secure compartments - most such partitions fit loosely so easily move up allowing things from several compartments to mingle. It comes with foot pads that make the organizer stay put and not slide all over the desktop. Please be aware that the drawer is not really a drawer but a PLASTIC tray that sits on the bottom shelf. It doesn't fit snugly on the shelf so slides around in most directions. I wish it was designed to be a drawer or fit snugly on the shelf. The drawer being plastic is not necessarily a bad thing as it does not make as much noise as metal sliding on metal would make. One of the organizers came with the following defects: one of the three vertical file components came bent; also one of the metal pieces that run on the outside of the sides (one on each side) came unattached which means that the means by which they are attached on each end is flimsy. As mentioned in the heading, I feel that the organizer is over priced. It will be lovely if the following changes could be made to the organizer: 1) Make it of sturdier material, 2) Make the tray a drawer that actually slides on something so it will be more user friendly, 3) Make the drawer height use the entire space available so it will be more functional unlike the way it is now where there's almost an inch of space between the top of the tray and the shelf above it. ... show more

I never understood why people wrote reviews for damaged items when you can simple send it back. It’s okay enough to use but my top baskets came crushed a bit. I was able to flatten them out some. It’s good enough to use and i really needed this for work as I have a new job and needed some organization stat! Good enough but just a bummer.
