First, the design is great. Colorful pattern and useful pockets/zippers. The straps are thick and comfortable. It is well made and will last us years until my son outgrows, maybe by first grade. It's not too big but fits a full size folder and notebooks.

This backpack is the perfect size for my 4.5 year old who started Pre-K this August. She loves the underwater theme and the material is nice. The straps are comfortable to her and the zippers have been working quite well so far. It has an inside pocket that is great to put her take home folder in, and plenty of outside pockets to store her afternoon snack, water bottle, and other miscellaneous things. I am writing this review a little too early! It has only been 2 weeks of school, and the bag is doing fine - holding up well. But then again - just 2 weeks! Hope I remember to come back and update it if it falls apart. This is for a first grade girl, in NYC school system. It is large enough to fit everything she needs for school. The bag holds its shape and doesn't slump down in a heap (which is always my personal pet peeve, don't think my daughter cares). She's also an Avengers fan, so it worked out well. The colors and print are exactly as shown in the picture - and I think it looks very pretty. Straps are comfortable, daughter loves the sternum strap, though she has loosened it to a point where it is not useful, but her bag isn't that heavy to warrant it (they don't need to carry the chromebooks back and forth). Bottomline, I like it. And for $40 I hope it lasts a few years. ... show more

Nice backpack, well made. Seems easy to spot clean, wish it were machine washable (may try it if needed), but otherwise a great backpack. Its not a big backpack, better suited for younger kids. If you put a lunchbox in it, it does take up most of the space, but still sufficient for our needs.

This has been working so well for my child’s school bag. I like the design, placement and variation of the pockets. The material is soft but sturdy. It is easy to adjust the straps. The Spidey image is vibrant and a great size. My only issue is that ours came with a twisted top strap as in it was sewn twisted. It can still be used and doesn’t impact the function. It just bothers me that I can’t get it straight. No other issues! We have one in a different design and the handle isn’t twisted so this must be a fluke. ... show more
