I rarely write a product review immediately after purchasing the product, as I like to see how well it lives up to its promises and holds up over time. But as soon as I set it up, I knew that I had a winner. When it first arrived, I was actually overwhelmed, upon opening it, to find several plastic bags containing what appeared to be short segments of pipe, and none of them labelled. I was prepared to spend a long and dreary afternoon, trying to figure out how to put this thing together. However, after spending five minutes carefully comparing each of the bagged items with their corresponding illustrations in the assembly directions, everything after that was smooth sailing. The thing practically assembled itself! The step-by-step directions are all illustrations, with no words, but they are very easy to follow. And there is very little required in the way of tightening bolts and screws - most of the pieces simply slide together and snap securely into place. I would have to say that this was the easiest product assembly job that I ever did (and I did it alone), and it probably took less than half an hour. As for the product itself, it is all metallic, sturdily built, and I expect that it is going to last a lifetime. The previous suit rack that I owned was a mix of plastic and metallic parts, and while it lasted a long time, it eventually became a rickety contraption that literally broke apart in the end. I don't anticipate that happening with this product, ever. I also love the dimensions of the product. I use the lower rack for my suits, and I use the upper rack, expanded, to hold all of my ties. It is just big enough to hold all of these things, but not so big that it creates an obstacle in my bedroom. A great product at a reasonable price! ... show more

I use rolling racks at work to move runs of apparel around a store daily. Those are really nice heavy duty units made of stainless steel and big casters. This is not that, and I knew it wouldn’t be that when I ordered it. I wanted a rolling rack that would roll into my oddly deep and frustratingly narrow closet at my apartment. Thought this would do the trick after carefully reviewing the measurements in the product description. The measurements were accurate and the unit does fit into the closet like I wanted… but I neglected all the reviews telling me how poorly designed this unit actually is. The two bars… the two bars are terrible. They’re made for children’s clothes or tiny elf uniforms. Shrunken, miniature humanoids who wear adorable shrunken, miniature garments. Regular adult sized clothing cannot fit side by side on this rack without bending to some unsatisfactory angle, which makes it somehow more difficult to select an outfit than if it were in a big pile on the ground (sadly this is what I was doing before this rack showed up). And you can’t even accept defeat and use only one side because the rack isn’t sturdy/bottom heavy enough to hold even a row of tshirts without tipping over to that side. So, no, I cannot endorse this product. Spend a little more money and buy a genuine industrial rolling rack for like $100 or invest in a dresser maybe. Very sad day for non elfish people in this household. Back to the drawing board. ... show more
