Wished I would have had the chance to try them for the trip I got them for. Unfortunately life made a change and I never got to do more than try them on. I bought 2 size larger and they fit nice with thick sock and water sock combo and fit nice. Didn’t try just the water sock but I’m sure it will be fine. Looking forward to trying them out.

This is my first pair of wading boots. A fly fishing friend recommended them. I did my research and came back to these. I ordered size elevens and use the wading socks by Simms. Perfect fit for me. I actually wear 10 1/2 shoes but always used size eleven when it come to boots. This allows for heavier, thicker socks. I've used them twice thus far, so as far as longevity, I can't give a definitive answer. They do seem well made though. Simms has a good reputation. Hope this helps you decide!

So far these boots have been great. In the past, I have used Orvis boots and these seem to be a good replacement. I used a bit of gorilla glue to cement the studs in as they are overpriced. I do a-lot of bouldering through the rivers and have found the traction to be as good as my old studded orvis boots. I like how roomy they are. So far a good purchase and fair price. I csn’t give five stars because this is there first season.

I like the fit and feel while wearing them. I’m going to get the cleats as they are a little slick on the rocks and climbing muddy banks.
