LOVE IT! I bought this lightweight open cardigan specifically because in the picture it seems to be lacking the “wings” in the front that define “flyaway” “open” (that is, non-buttoning) thin, light, women’s jackets. I have purchased at least 20 of those easy-to-wear thin, long-sleeved rayon or poly things in several colors for six years, and yeah, they’re versatile, comfy, usually flattering, machine washable and best of all—inexpensive. But the “flyaway” part of these things, a split V dangling down in the front between your legs like a bifurcated tail might distract the eyes from an unconscious measure of your HIPS, but they also are annoying as heck. I’ve had them get stuck in the seatbelt buckle, droop into the toilet, get stuck in the car door, become entangled in the wheels of my wheelchair, and like neckties on men, they’re food-drip magnets and my toddler grandkids love to grab ahold of them whenever they’ve been eating PBJ sandwiches! I feared this version of the ubiquitous jacket choice for women “of a certain age” would turn out to NOT have a straight hem after all... I am happy to say the hem IS straight. No points at all. Happy happy, joy joy! Now I WILL NOT look like every other 50-something woman. I turned it inside out, tossed it in the machine in warm water with a bit of laundry soap just to get the “sizing” finish and wrinkles out, dried it on low for 25 mins. No shrinkage, and the color is a true red. I have long arms, and the sleeves hit wrists exactly right. Seams are good and tight, nicely serged, so it passes my QC check. So at least brand new, both the design (no flyaway tails) and execution (well made), it’s a 5/5. If it doesn’t hold up, I’ll update. Right now, I’m ordering 3 more in different colors.

*Update: Though I am 5ft2 after a handful of washing the sleeves did shrink some. it didn't effect me since my arms are short, but for average height women, these will probably run a bit shorter ( above wrist).* Immediately upon opening the package , I knew I would like the cardigan. It is buttery soft and light weight . It's perfect for layering in the winter and will be great in the spring with a T shirt or blouse . I love the bright yellow color and it will be perfect for Endometriosis Awareness month this March! I am almost 5ft2 and curvy so I ordered a 2X as it's more like a juniors 2x then a women's ( DD chest and I do have a apple bottom ) and it fits very flattering which is hard to find. with my body type the high /low styles fit well and look good. The sleeves fit great and don't ride up, it covers my butt, wraps around well and can close across my chest ! I just tried it on with a light weight knit sweater and it still fit! I would definitely say it's all season but isn't thick enough to use as a warm layer on its own in the winter. I will definitely order more in different colors. I know it looks wrinkled in the picture but I had just taken it out if the package .Hope this helps !

I really, really wanted this to fit as I need a cream colored cardigan for some work outfits. It was very sheer, which I could have lived with. However, the tightness in the arms was a deal breaker. I have similar cardigans in other colors from different companies in 1x and 2x that I wear almost daily (wish I could find those again at Ross!) Specifically ordered the 3x hoping it would run large with no luck. Had to return this. Still on the hunt for a cream colored cardigan that fits. Giving it 3 stars because it is a nice sweater and am sure it will work for skinny people, just not anyone remotely plus size with large upper arms.

The description lists "modal" making you think it's a modal rayon blend. But the material tag on the actual item shows it's just rayon. I wouldn't have purchased it if I knew it did not have any percentage of modal fabric. This is just a cheap, thin cardigan that pills up immediately. The seller should fix the description, it's deceptive.
