Most of the rocks were much too small for the grands to paint on. Of course they grabbed the largest ones first and nobody wanted the very small ones. I just dumped them in the flowerbed. I ended up ordering some molds to make some extra large flat rocks that they all loved. They even enjoyed helping with the molds. No I definitely would not order these again.i guess you get what you pay fkr ... show more

Based on the pictures in the listing, I expected to receive more flat rocks. There were some really good, flat ones, but there were also a lot more that were more rounded. This was my first time painting rocks, so I didn't really know what I was doing. I was also working with new paints, so I don't know if rocks are difficult to cover with paint or my paint was low quality and not spreading smoothly. Whatever the case, I found rock painting to be fun, but not as easy as painting on canvas. There were various sizes, mostly small rocks, not as many medium sized rocks and even fewer larger sized rocks. The smaller sized rocks had the larges number of flat rocks. The medium sized had maybe half a dozen good flat rocks and none of the larger size was what I would call flat. The pictures I included provide a good sampling of the size and shape of the rocks in my order. The small rocks are approximately the size of a quarter. The size of the larger rocks can be estimated by comparison. ... show more

Not beautifully presented, but then you're buying a bag of rocks lol. You get exactly what they say in their description ... and they do detail the kind of size you'll be getting. The big rocks and the middle rocks are great sizes ... but altogether there's on 35 of them. The small rocks are, generally speaking, and just as they describe, pretty small. They are lovely and smooth for painting and the large ones are really good shapes and sizes. Not sure how much more information I can give really but I hope the above helps. ... show more
