Gave this scooter to my daughter, she rides it almost everyday but she says the battery dies quick. Charging takes about 30-40 minutes but the use time is about 20 min, you can repeat the process of changing and using but I don't know what it might do for the battery. The back brake broke on the second use (you can see on the photo) it feels like cheap plastic, tried finding a replacement but no luck. It's ok for a quick ride. ... show more

The price point is really attractive for an electric scooter and I think this one is performs OK for the price. Charges fairly quick and battery does last decent amount of time. This scooter is just ok. The unit is on the lighter side compared to some electric scooters. The assembly was very simple with mostly just having to attach the handlebar portion of the scooter. The pad for standing on is your typical scooter size with glued on grip tape. The brakes work fairly well and the acceleration is pretty good as well. The unit arrived mostly charged which it may have lost some charge during storage/shipping. The battery is very short lived for an electric scooter. This battery is on the shorter end of charge. It operates for about 1 hour of use before needing to be recharged. The recharge process takes a little long for such a smaller electric scooter. The scooter can be folded down to make carrying and travel a bit easier. There is a wire on the front of the scooter that can be very annoying but is brake wire for the front brake. You can easily attach a zip tie to hold it in place but ensure you don’t tighten it too much so the wire can still have some play for the folding operation. All in all this a decent scooter for the price point is more geared towards low frequency use for short durations/distance. ... show more

Simate Electric Scooter is like a cheap knockoff of a Segway Ninebot. It’s like comparing a bicycle to a Ferrari. But hey, if you’re looking for a scooter that will make you feel like you’re riding a lawnmower, then SIMATE is your best bet! All joking aside, the price point is what's really attractive. For what you pay, you get a decent scooter that will be good enough for most users. I do like that it provides a screen on how fast you're going and what your charge level is. This looks like a good scooter for your child. The led lights look good and platform looks stable enough for younger children. Although just a heads up, the battery life is not the greatest. I have to charge it frequently, but this is ok for short rides. The assembling was although somewhat tricky. The instructions were not very clear in my opinion. This is very easy to carry around though. The folding feature is good for transporting. This is expensive for a short battery life scooter though.
