This keyboard guide fits onto the piano keyboard easily and can also be easily taken off. When I first ordered this, I thought that it was one piece but it comes in four sections. I guess that makes sense since there are keyboards that less keys than a piano. Before this guide, daughter struggled a little with identifying the music notes on the keyboard. After I put this guide on, her music reading skills have improved and she's better at knowing where the notes are since the letters can be easily read. I like how the music note is also shown on the guide, along with the letter. I deducted one star because when I play the piano, sometimes the guide tabs get in the way when I play. Perhaps that's why the manufacturer made it so that you can remove the guide from the keyboard easily. I'll admit, it's just laziness on my part. ... show more

Love this! I had trouble positioning this keychain. If I lay it flat against the keys as in the 1st picture, some of my keys don't make a sound when played. So, I had to lay the chain on an angle as in the sencond picture. It does stay put fir the most part. I just wish I could use it flat. Ne er the less, it's easy to clean. Just wipe it off.     • Some difficulty with my older piano- causes keys to stick.

This is a really cool aid to learn to read notes, and I genuinely wish that I had something similar when I was learning. I love that all of the notes are color coordinated; for example, all the 'C's are red. Sharps and flats (the black keys) are not included on these at all. There are some tricky note things that I think should have been included and are not- Middle C can, and often is, be written in either treble or bass clef, and only the treble version is included. Also, E can be written as F flat, and F as E sharp, and I kinda think both versions should be included, again, they are not. These are kind of small print. The silicone is excellent quality, and I like that it came in three pieces, so you could use the middle-range set for an electronic keyboard pretty easily. My biggest problem is that the silicon that is supposed to sit behind the black keys is too wide (older piano, Steinway, its possible that this issue has to do with the type of piano), so when you push a key down, it can keep the key partially down, and cause it to stick. My kids have actually just been letting them rest on top of the black keys and it has worked fine. I think this is a great help to learning to read music, but it could be really annoying for a more advanced player, but by the time it would be annoying, you can probably already read music, so maybe that is a moot point. ... show more

This is a complete set of note stickers for a full size piano keyboard. I like that they are easy to read and store in a small package. I wish that there was more overlap in the keys shown when they change from treble clef to bass clef to help in playing music that has those notes.     • A durable "cheat sheet" for your piano keys

I never took piano lessons and self taught doesn't work too well for me, so I need all the help I can get to plunk out notes on my piano. These piano note "stickers" are not stickers at all, but are plastic strips the run on top of the back edge of the keyboard. They will probably fit well on most pianos, but my piano has a wood piece the runs behind the keys and the plastic connecting strip does not fit in well for some keys causing some binding. I plan to trim this plastic strip to allow the key bals to fits more loosely. ... show more

These come in three numbered pieces. The numbers are in the upper right. That makes it easy to tell where to place. All the writing is printed onto these and could rub off if mishandled. The yellow color is not very readable. These will only fit what it states. So if you got a toy keyboard like me, it'll not work well. I've had an item change on me in the far past.
