I spent several weeks in music shops and on the web. When I found this Sax it sounded almost too good to be true. I wrote the seller and they not only replied to my question but supplied additional information on the instrument. I decided to give it a try and when the sax arrived I was amazed that it was even better than advertised. The "used price" was good, but this Sax was almost like new (as they stated). I have been playing it for about 2 months and really enjoy the sound and overall quality of this instrument. I highly recommend this seller and this particular Alto Saxophone. This is a mid- range sax and is excellent for advanced school musician and the casual/semi-pro like my self. Selmer has a winner in this saxophone. It is more money than the $500 entry sax (do NOT even consider the $200 to 300 on beginner Sax's).     • I LOVE THIS SAX.
I bought this saxophone after playing for 2 years on a school instrument and 2 years on a really cheap, Craigslist horn. It came with a large case (with zippers, several straps, and outside pockets - it's a pretty convenient case, though I feel like there's not enough room on the inside), a neckstrap, a polishing cloth, cork grease, and Gonzales size 2.75 reeds (I haven't tried these out since they're not my size). Anyway, I'm 95% satisfied with this! The missing 5% is because the sax was left by my front door upon delivery while I wasn't home, which seemed pretty dangerous. There are also some black lines (they look kind of like scratches) by the top keys, but they aren't too noticeable. ... show more

This saxophone is gorgeous. It was a Christmas gift for my husband. He is an experienced performer, and is in love with it! Thanks to Springdale Music, the saxophone arrived well packaged and on time! I could not be happier!

Absolutely an impressive instrument. Selmer is a top tier brand for saxophones and other woodwinds and delivers with the La Voix II. Great sound, well crafted, good looking, and comfortable fingering. Far above the student line and this instrument could easily outperform the vast majority of other brand's professional models.
