These earring backings are so small that it is easy to loose them. Many of our family have piercings that we share the backings. Children and teens tend to regularly loose them. These backings unlike metal do not irritate my ears and are comfortable to wear.They also keep the fish hook type of earrings in place. Have a lot of earrings and these are the best replacement backs I've found. Don't hurt your feet if you drop and step on it. Does the job. No allergic reactions from any type of metal. I really like these. You get a lot for the price and the little container is nice for storing them.
