  • Great Product
**Product Review: Silas Sound Deadening Material for Car Floors** Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) I recently upgraded my car with Silas Sound Deadening Material on the floor, and the results have been nothing short of fantastic. Here's a detailed review of my experience: **Noise Reduction**: The effectiveness of Silas Sound Deadening Material in reducing noise is impressive. It significantly dampens road noise, engine rumble, and vibrations, making the car’s interior remarkably quieter. This has transformed my daily commute, allowing me to enjoy music and conversations without the intrusive background noise. **Installation**: Installation was straightforward, thanks to the product's design. The material cuts easily, which allowed me to tailor it precisely to the floor contours of my car. The self-adhesive backing is strong and adheres well to the car floor, ensuring a secure fit without any additional adhesives. **Material Quality**: The quality of Silas Sound Deadening Material is top-notch. It is thick and dense, which is key for absorbing sound and vibrations. Despite its thickness, it's surprisingly lightweight, so it doesn't add much weight to the vehicle. The material is also resistant to moisture and temperature fluctuations, making it durable for long-term use in various climates. **Impact on Driving Experience**: The installation of this material on the car floor has significantly enhanced the driving experience. The ride feels smoother and more refined, as the material also helps in damping the vibrations that travel through the car's structure. **Value for Money**: Given its high quality and the substantial improvement it brings to the comfort of driving, Silas Sound Deadening Material offers excellent value for money. It performs on par with, if not better than, more expensive brands in the market. **Overall Verdict**: Silas Sound Deadening Material is an outstanding product for anyone looking to improve the soundproofing of their vehicle. Its installation on the car floor has made a noticeable difference, creating a quieter and more enjoyable driving environment. I highly recommend it to all car owners—it’s a worthwhile investment for enhancing your vehicle's interior ambiance. ... show more

  • Highly recommended

  • This works!
I used it to line the interior plastic rear panels and some under seat plastics in my Polaris Xpedition. Was it a lot of work? YES. Was it worth it? YES. This is good stuff, believe me. It is thick, has superior adhesion to others I've tried on other units in the past, and definitely quieted the drone of that engine packed in right behind my 2 seats. As for price, well, I guess I figured it was worth it because I bought enough to really do the job. I even put some on the exterior of the back panel behind the seats and have seen ZERO failure even though it's exposed to the heat of the engine and the mud and water of our rides. It probably doubles as a heat insulator to keep the AC from having to work too hard, which is just an added benefit for us. Noise was our main concern, and this tackled it. If you are thinking of doing this, don't think twice about this stuff - just get it! ... show more

  • Enhanced Soundproofing and Thermal Blocking
The Siless LinerPRO 2in1 200 mil (5mm) soundproofing material has truly exceeded my expectations in reducing road noise and heat in my car. Installation was a breeze using scissors or a blade. The flexibility of the material allowed for easy cutting and shaping to fit into various spaces in my car. Plus, the self-adhesive backing ensured a secure and hassle-free application. Once installed, the difference in sound quality was immediately noticeable. It did help dampen vibrations and reduced external noise, creating a quieter and more comfortable environment. The thermal insulation properties were very important to me, and this product did deliver on that. The engine firewall in my classic car gets too hot and the cabin heat becomes unbearable, but with this product, the difference was immediate. I highly recommend the Siless Liner Pro to anyone looking to improve soundproofing and thermal insulation for their car. With its easy installation, durable construction, and impressive performance, it's a game-changer for creating a quieter and more comfortable environment. ... show more

  • works good 4-6hr install
so i installed this in my 2002 F250 crew cab due to driving lots of hrs on the hwy,... i installed it on the floor door sill to door sill front to back... as high on the firewall as i could go without removing the dash about a third of the way up.... all the way up to the glass window of the rear cab wall.... and inside all 4 door skins top to bottom side to side.... waiting to replace headliner one day before installing in the roof... so far though there is a noticeable difference in road noise, id say it cut it down by about 40%close to half... not as much with engine noise due to not pulling dash to install behind it.... now it did help alot with cooling the truck off faster in the summer.... INSTALL TIPS: your gonna want to start in the morning on this project the install wasn't pro level difficulty but have a plan a large area to pull all your seats and carpet and lower plastic panels and a sunny day not a maybe cloudy day..... and shop vac that b!&$ youll see why when you pull the seats and carpet......vac and wipe down all surfaces you wanna cover, then lay some squares out with the paper still on them... and have plenty of razor blades ready they gum up... i started in the center and worked out from there laying as many squares as i could on the "flatter" surfaces saving the dips and rolls for the next to go down so my layout stayed some what straight... also make sure you get all the air out from under the pads as you install...or it can trap air and moisture and good luck with all the sticky fingers hahaha... and id skip gloves they will just piss you off ... show more

  • It works! Allow yourself time and patience.
These are great. I got a RAV4 and that car was so loud. You can see the back wheel well had some thin white padding and the spare tire area had nothing. The hardest part was unsnapping the back side panels but overall super happy with the product. I installed them on a day that was 80 degrees, which was fine because the instructions say to install in temps above 70 but the glue started to get gooey. I didn’t even need a roller because of its good adhering to the metal. Overall, though, there was a noticeable decrease in road noise so I’m happy with it. Make sure to use sharp scissors to cut the pieces you need and just puzzle it all together. It didn’t come out beautifully pieced together but it’s also not seen so it didn’t matter to me. ... show more

  • Silence the outside world and drive in a tranquil state of mind
This product really surprised me. It lowered the noise in my promaster. I don’t have to have my music on volume 100. I can hear myself think again. If silence is what you need in your vehicle then this is your chance to get it. Buy this and you will be singing down the road.

  • Easy to install
These liners were super simple to install. I was redoing the floor on my truck and having these made the job much simpler. If you have a knife and some rollers, it shouldn’t take more than a couple hrs to redo the floor (a few hrs for someone inexperienced such as myself). I will say, make sure you wear pants you don’t care about, because they’ll likely ruin them as the green is extremely sticky and if/when it tears, it comes off like boogers and doesn’t come out in the washer. But hopefully you’re not working on your car in clothes you care about. Other than that…it’s great! Like I said, simple to install, I added additional spray adhesive although you done really need to because it sticks really well. But the rollers are absolutely essential. They will ensure that you can contour the liners into the crevices of the floor. Additionally, it significantly reduces the sound from outside my truck. I have an old Chevy so they’re not the quietest on the road, but the liners absolutely helped with that. 10/10 for this product, id absolutely recommend it to anyone, especially anyone who lacks experience and this is your first time (it was my first time). ... show more
